Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Buckhead

The host, I can’t remember his name, was awesome! Breakfast this morning had great variety. The shampoo and body washed smelled really good (clean) for both men and women

There wasn’t anything unpleasant

The staff was exceptional, from check in to check out. Everyone that I encountered was polite and extremely helpful and we were there 6 days. The room felt like a small apartment which was nice. We had to ask for extra pillows because the bed felt like it was uneven, but that was fixed once we stacked pillows. Enjoyed the pool, although it didn’t seem the filter was on so it was a little dirty. In the grand scheme, minor complaints. Overall, a great stay.

This property is in DIRE need of renovation. Our “non-smoking” room smelled like a 40-year-old, moldy ashtray. I quickly developed a horrible headache, sore throat & cough. Don’t be fooled by the Marriott brand and the bougie part of town.

Loved this spacious room and the comfortable bed. Clean and convenient!

Not good, very bad

The stay was very good and the workers was very nice even the ones that speak no English, And the lady checked us in was very nice and helpful yes I would stay here again. Thanks

We had no hot water for 3 straight days. The hotel response on Friday night was “someone is coming on Monday”. On Sunday morning from 7 am to 11 am the maintenance was running a loud leaf blower and the front desk’s response was we cannot ask them to stop. The website advertised free hot breakfast which was a complete lie. When promised a refund for all of the inconveniences, they delayed and delayed with us and several other parties that were traveling with us. Months later they are now refusing to refund.

We booked a penthouse room, and was really hot even after adjusting the AC. The team did move us to a different room, with offering a really small discount . I’m not even sure if I received it to be honest. I am thankful that they were willing to move us. Two of the tvs in the room worked, but either the volume was bad or you could only watch through an app. There were some minor cleaning misses. The new room was much better but you could tell what had been patched, etc.

From the second I walked in I was greeted by Jarod. He was polite and friendly. I really like the room he chose for me it was private and right by the park I could hear the birds chirping. I had Celia as my first house keeper we pretty much chatted the whole time she was very friendly and social and I was semi rushing her and she was able to accommodate. Shawnta at the front desk always greeted me and told me to have a nice day when I would walk in and out of the building. She helped give me change to tip the staff. She was friendly and social. I was a little difficult one day about house keeping and she knew I was a little stressed out she kept it extremely professional and was able to accommodate me and sent two house keepers right then and there. She sent Patricia and Gwen, I’ve never had such quick house keeping service. Also, my phone charger was not working and Shawnta was able to accommodate and let me borrow a charger while I purchased a replacement. Breakfast was great I chatted with Yansi she was friendly social and was on top of everything with breakfast. I even showed up late because I thought breakfast was over at 10:00 am but that’s only on weekends on weekdays it ends at 9:30. They were still able to make something work for me. I also noticed that this is the only Residence Inn that I’ve stayed in that has a desk in the middle of the room. Which I really like. Overall, the level of service and professionalism was outstanding. Not only that but all the staff had a very friendly demeanor it felt very homey/welcoming. I definitely recommend staying here. I was so impressed I decided to get a trip advisor account and leave an epic review.

Property and room were great. Front desk clerk sternly told us "no partying" and was serious. We are middle-aged and sober. You don't need to speak to guests that way, there are polite ways to convey the message.
