Motel 6 Baton Rouge, LA - East - I-12

Absolutely awful. From the minute we pulled into the parking lot we didn't feel safe. My mom and I checked in and then went to our room to find that the bed looked like someone had laid in it, the lights didn't work, the fridge was missing, and several other fixtures and parts of the room were broken. The room was in horrible condition. Between that and not feeling safe, we left and found somewhere else to stay.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ROACHES EVERYWHERE, NO DOOR IN BATHROOM, CIGARETTE BURNS ON SHEETS, EXTREMELY DIRTY ROOM. THIS HOTEL SHOULD NOT BE IN EXPEDIA.COM. I wish I had read the reviews before booking only based on the price. This is not a hotel, this is a motel. In other words you can find hookers and pimps here. Based on a conversation in the parking lot between two hookers fighting over a client. Apparently it was settled with one pimp giving the other pimp $40. THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR FAMILIES.

They charged us for the night and gave our room away.

Awful. Ended up leaving immediately. Women getting beat up on the premises, fights in the parking lot, locks on the rooms removed, blood stains and remnants of drugs left behind. No fire alarms or smoke detectors in the room. Broken tiles, no bathroom mirror, bullet holes in the walls also.

I don’t even want to give this place a star!! The receptionist walked me to my room to open the door. I asked for a key and he said it was broken. He said if I left to shut the door and ask him to open it. I didn’t even set my bag down. The condition of the hotel is deplorable and should be condemned! No smoke detector (cables were dangling), several holes all through the room, no light bulbs in the fixtures, satanic doodles all over the door, TV was stolen (he acted shocked) and roaches both dead and alive. I refused the room and he said to call a number for a refund. I will be calling many people to complain about this run down crack hotel. If you’re a junkie this is your spot!!

It was I guess kind of you get what you pay for. I was looking for something cheap. The staff was nice but we didn't really talk a lot. The room was horrible though. I don't know if they ever have cleaned the floors. There was gum or something like it on the floor. There was food and dirty wet wipes on the floor too. There were holes in the walls. The towel hanger for the sink was pulled off the wall. The sheets had cigarette burns in them and stains on them. The towels and wash clothes had stains and hairs on them. The bathroom had mold all over the ceiling. The room smelled like someone had been smoking in it and it was supposed to be non-smoking I thought. The key card they gave us at the front desk did not work at all. The staff had to open the door with a key. It was cold so I would not have gotten in the pool but it was green and had trash in it anyway. The whole place just seemed a little sketchy. I wanted cheap though and I got cheap and kind of nasty too.

It was awful. Nothing like the pictures. Was not clean, was not safe. We did not stay and feel totally mislead and cheated by this experience.

This hotel was truly run down and a very horrible experience. There were roaches crawling in the mirror on the bathroom vanity and on the wall. Bathroom faucet for sink had no handle there was no ironing board bed head some type of writing and sticky stuff on it spots all over the place it was truly disgusting and they refuse to refund our money. The pictures on Hotels.com are nothing compared to what we found this is a roach and drug infested property please don’t stay here run now as fast as you can
