I liked the cleanliness

there wasn't anything I didn't like

The beds are always extremely comfortable. The lighting in the room is very pleasant. The pool in hot tub are always enjoyable in the breakfast is delicious.

Our only complaint is the heater/fan was way too loud when it kicked on and while it was running. We just turned the thermostat off for the night and the temperature in the room stayed at a decent level. I alerted staff when checking out and the kind girl gave me extra points on my account for the inconvenience.

Well. I will say that this hotel rates were far more affordable than the crazy rates we were coming up with in downtown Burlington, at least in the 3rd week of October. However, this place needs a lot of work which the owners don't seem to interested in doing. There was only one outlet near the bed, so unable to plug in both CPAP and charge iPhone (unusual to see these days). I had planned to do laundry, but, rather than repair the machines, there was just a sign suggesting we use that of the hotel across the street (Larkin Way), which doesn't seem practical. The heating/cooling just has an analog red/blue dial, rather than a thermostat to indicate the temperature you want. There's only one elevator to the lobby--and it's very slow and also used by housekeeping (whose cart takes up the whole elevator when they're using it). Finally, the internet WiFi speed was quite slow. This place isn't terrible, but it's not as nice as most Holiday Inn Expresses I've been to--which is quite a few. On the plus side, I found it quieter than many of the other reviewers, and my room had windows giving out to bright Fall foliage, which was nice for that time of year.
