OYO Hotel Mt. Vernon KY - Renfro valley/I-75

Room seemed run down. Toilet rocked.

It was a nightmare. Checking late was not ideal but that was the nature of the trip. After ringing a doorbell and waiting to be checked in for what seemed like an eternity if went downhill from there. The key to the room would not work. I had to go back three times only to find out and be a bother to the people who were already checked into the room I was given. Finally I was given a different room and a key that works. The site says that it is pet friendly. It’s not uncommon to travel with my dog. I have never paid a pet deposit anywhere else that is pet friendly. My trip was booked and paid for upon arrival. I was then asked to pay a separate fee outside of my booking for a 20 dollar pet deposit that I will not get back! Clearly the people running it are banking off that separate charge. The room was not ideal. Nothing like the pictures posted. A run down room with filthy stained carpets and a door that barely latched. Heck out time is 10. That is almost unheard of. Generally it’s 11. I was rushed out of my room with the threat of another days charge at only a quarter after 10. I will never ever stay at this place again. The service was terrible as well as the limited amenities. Plus the shady 20 dollar charge. In all honesty I should a refund. What a terrible stay!

Not the best motel but also not the worst. Bathroom absolutely needed some work.

Didn't like the location and the fact that there were no places to eat nearby. The room was clean and secure so it fulfilled my needs of getting off the road for the night and enjoying a hot shower.

There was a lot of bugs. They must have sprayed cause the bugs where dead. Sheet and blakets had holes in them. The people are nice and it seemed they may have had better rooms than the one i stayed in. I will not stay here again.

The room was old not what the pictures showed. Dirty room. Bathroom smelled of mildrew. Stains on walls. We got there late & was extremely tired. But that room was horribly funky!!!!

We found OYO last minute on our drive as we moved across the county, and it was right next to us so we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and were very happy and comfortable with our stay! Would stay again.

The room was clean and well kept. Obviously undergoing renovations. The front desk clerk barely said 2 words to me while i was checking in and the tv didnt actually connect to the cable box in the room

We arrived around 8p and checking in went smoothly. We got our key, put our stuff in the room and took the kids to supper. When we returned I noticed there were dead bugs on the wall and a used rag on the shower.. we figured must have been overlooked by house keeping. After showers we go to get in bed to find BLOOD in the bed. It's not any of ours. I decided we should check out because we aren't staying in those conditions. There were bugs on the floor and blood in the bed. When I tell the owners wife, she misunderstands then says she will come see. I show her and she tells me off because I didn't check the bed upon arriving for blood. I explain we went to dinner and had just gotten back and she put her hand up in my face and yelled at me in front of other guests. I would never recommend this. It needs to not even be associated with hotels.com
