Hilton Boston Dedham

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. On March 10, 2026, I spoke with a front desk employee named Frank (or a similar name) who was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. During the call he raised his voice, refused to confirm his statements in writing, and hung up the phone when I asked if he could simply send an email confirming what he had just told me. The situation was particularly frustrating because the information we received from staff was contradictory. When we checked in on March 9, another front desk employee told us that the hotel could cancel the reservation on their end and that we would then handle the refund with the third-party booking service. However, the next day Frank insisted that the hotel could not cancel the reservation at all. To be clear, I was not asking him to process a refund. I only asked for a simple confirmation that the reservation had been cancelled on the hotel’s side so that I could follow up with the third-party booking provider. Instead of assisting, he became dismissive and ended the call. Unfortunately, the hotel conditions themselves were also extremely poor. The pool was not functioning, despite being advertised. The hallways had a very strong, unpleasant odor. The HVAC system blew musty air into the room, making it difficult to breathe. Windows cannot be opened at all, so there is no way to get fresh air into the room. Because of the air quality, my child began experiencing breathing discomfort while we were there and could not sleep at all. The room itself was also dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, and certainly the worst experience we have had at a Hilton property. I would not recommend staying here, even if the price appears attractive.

The charges on my credit card! I have 3 separate bills on my credit card for the 1-night stay. No one is answering the phone at the hotel's accounting or front desk lines.

I was here for a group winter meeting. The hotel was warm, comfortable beds, pleasant staff. Herbert the manager was efficient, personable and helpful. He clearly pitches in wherever he is needed. The wait staff for our group dinner was great. Front desk staff is very welcoming.
