Hilton Boston Dedham

The place was quiet, and the staff, bartender and were friendly and the coffee bar was good.

The room we were placed in was in the lower lever. The place was very dated and smelled like smoke. Although it was a smoke free area. The room was ok except: the tub was dirty, the toilet was loose from the floor, there were smashed bugs on the walls. Clearly no one really wiped the room/bathroom down. Thank God I travel with cleaning supplies. I was not happy, first stay and last.

The issue and problem I had during my stay is that we booked a room with double beds. And didn’t get it. The hotel staff rolled a bed in and that’s where the problem started. It was a terrible roll-away-bed. Not at all comfortable to sit on let alone sleeping on it. I woke up sore and tired every morning. I also asked for another pillow (too flat) and another blanket they said there were no more. Not happy about that. Second; while attending a meeting a mouse ran across the floor that contained a room full of people. Not good. Third; I hope I get his name correct Thurston or Thurmond, the head of food an beverage. He was absolutely brilliant, amazing, and just plain wonderful. He truly knows the value of customer service. I stayed from the 15-18. The waitstaff that was there Thursday night was wonderful as well I can’t remember their names and the two individuals who were working during the breakfast hours were great as well. Overall get more pillows and blankets. And try not to book more than one event at a time to not run into these problems. Also it appears that the heating and cooling system needs to be completely overhauled. The rooms were either too hot or too cold.

There was kids running down the hall screening snd knocking at my door at midnight. I called the front desk to complain but nothing was done.

Nothing overbooked a conference that did not mix with children no even able to eat at restaurant

I had no heat or hot water and front staff other then Haley were very unhelpful worst Hilton location I ever stayed at
