San Ramon Marriott

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for the exceptional service and support provided by the team at the San Ramon Marriott for our cancer survivor fashion show held on September 28, 2025. Jeannette Rodriguez, Catering Manager and Robert Borromeo, Venue Director, went above and beyond with the support to execute my annual fashion event and luncheon. The attention paid to my ideas and needs by both Jeannette and Robert which brought my vision for the participants, cancer survivors, and the audience, to life was amazing. If I had been able to complete the survey originally sent, I would have given both Robert and Jeannette a 10 out 10 for their impeccable support! My event was executed with professionalism and care, and we were incredibly pleased with the overall experience.

This is not a great Marriott property. The rooms are clean and the facilities are satisfactory but dated. The restaurant is poor. Oddly, there were no reading lights on both side of the bed and the light between the beds did not throw-off that much light so the person farther away from that light could not read in bed. This is probably the best place to stay in the area but is is just so-so.

Fantastic hotel with friendly staff. The rooms and hotel is clean. Great concierge lounge. Terrific location that's close to food, shopping, and a movie theater. I will definitely stay at the Marriott again.

We stayed at San Ramon Marriott last August for 4 weeks. I am giving 5 stars because Aaron literally saved our entire stay there. At first we were given a room which was too dark. Honestly, it would have been perfectly fine if we had to stay a couple of days. But we had to stay 4 entire weeks in the hotel. I have asked many times the staff at the front desk if they could switch us to a brighter room on the 6th floor and always got the same answers: "we will see tomorrow", or 'we will see next week end", or 'come back in few days" etc. Then we met Aaron, cheerful, kind, efficient, in 24h it was done with smile and kindness. Perfect room for us, perfect stay. If we had not met Aaron I would have swiched to another hotel. The swimming pool is very nice and warm, not too sure to understand the Cabana concept ( I have seen it used 2 times in 4 weeks for kids birthday) and takes a lot of space around the pool. Having access to a washing machine and a dryer when you stay 4 weeks is a game changer. Fridge in the room has a good size and is very convenient. We had a very nice stay, thank you Aaron!

Rooms were quiet and dark at night. Cost of room included breakfast, appetizer hours and dessert hours

There was nothing not to like

I’ve stayed about a dozen times at the San Ramon Marriott. It is my “go to” place the the East Bay. The hotel has been recently remodeled. Very nice. Also the restaurant is much better than in the past. Birjana was a delightful server. I especially like the hotel gym. Much better than most Marriott properties. (And I’ve spent about 30 days in Marriott hotels this year). I look forward to my next stay.

Cannot access outside without going to front lobby. Need to smoke.

Very clean hotel that is conveniently located to where I needed to go for a wedding. Very accessible to all major highways and nearby a lot of shopping for easy pick up of things that you may have forgotten for a trip. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good spot in the East Bay.
