WORST RESPONSE !!

THEY DON’T SERVE COFFEE R TEA NEAR THE POOL!!!! worst service about house keeping.

We liked the room very much and especially the view. The food during lunch and dinner was good but the service was very slow.

Overall, it wasn't so bad, but there were many little quality issues that, when added up, made the place feel a little sub-par. They are advertising a 5 star resort, but in all honesty its more like a 3 star resort, with very nice rooms. I want to first say the room and the view was wonderful we were very happy with this, also the food for lunch and dinner was quite good. However, there were a lot of issues. We felt that the general upkeep of the place was not up to standard, especially for what we paid. The lack of any general recreation besides the infinity pool. The food menu was very limited, and breakfast was extremely limited. In general, the staff did not appear to be very professional, through no fault of their own, but the lack of some basic training by the management was very visible. They were, however, friendly and respectful. In addition the reception kept calling our room to ask us about breakfast and dinner. I understand the good intentions around this, but to be frank, this became a bit bothersome to us. During lunch and dinner, the waiting time after making an order was extremely long. We waited over 45 minutes for a starter. Even when we made an order in advance before coming to the restaurant area, it took very long. I understand the geography of the location is difficult, but the approach to the hotel was rather treacherous, i know this is the case for many resorts in the area, but this felt particularly bumpy. Finally, the property itself just does not look and feel very polished. The walls in the room had paint chipping as well as other stains showing a certain lack of upkeep, and the landscaping appeared to not be maintained very much. The menu cards were all creased and looking very old. One must remember that this is being advertised as a 4 or 5 star resort, and therefore, there is a certain standard to be expected, but it just was not met. Also, the location is about 45 minutes from the main area of Munnar.

Double bed were two single mattresses stacked together Had asked for the suite at the top of the hill before booking. Had email and phone confirmation for the same but was provided a different one Despite repeated requests, no bathrobes were provided
