Very stuffy top floor room, but was a heatwave at the time.

What a lovely little find in a quaint village. Gorgeous setting, the sun was out and the outside area was full with people enjoying the lovely river view. We had a twin & a single room both were clean with a lovely welcome pack. We ate in the bar area, the food was delicious. I would love to return.

Last minute booking as let down by hotel I was meant to be staying at and was so pleased as this place was better than the one I was meant to be in.

Wonderful well-equipped rooms, fantastic food (we had a delicious lunch and amazing breakfast), great staff. Amazing and beautiful location.

It was very hot but that was just the surprise heatwave. Fans were provided though. The only downsides were the motorbike group who insisted on revving their engines at 7am just outside the window (would have preferred to have been told about this at booking or offered rooms away from the road given we were not with the motorbike rally) and service at breakfast was a bit, er, vague/slow! Breakfast food was utterly delicious though to match the lunch we had the day before!
