Great location, good size property, easy to find.

Needed better cleaning, very dusty, cobwebs very visible. Sugar left out with no cover, which is a little unhygienic. Bed in the biggest room on the first floor was extremely uncomfortable. House could do with airing out or some air freshener, smelled musty and damp when we arrived. Could be beautiful but needs a bit of TLC.

Location, beds smelled fresh & clean. Towels clean but small.

High dusting missed. Toilet seats unsafe. Couldn’t get both shower heads to work. No lock on bathroom door. Lack of wardrobe space to hang anything up. House needs sprucing up.

It's clear that the conpany that rents out the property have not read the customer reviews, as all the complaints made over the past two years seem to have not been addressed. The property has so much character and is in a superb location but the house needs a really good clean and some money spent on decorating and DIY. Many reviews, starting way back in 2023, mention the overgrown backyard, hard beds, heating, lack of tv reception/channels, noisy bathroom fans, no freezer, ripped furniture, property sleeps six but only four dining chairs, cobwebs, peeling wallpaper, cracks in tiles,. Four of us stayed for two nights. On arrival the house was cosy and warm. Fresh, clean smelling towels and bed linen were a bonus. However, there were no tea and coffee making faciliites. Condiments in the cupboard consisted of things that other customers had bought. We had to buy more toilet roll as there was less than a third of a roll of toilet paper in the down stairs toilet and half a roll upstairs. There was just a sponge scourer to clean pots but no wipe down cloth for surfaces. Having bought two pricey tubs of ice cream for Sat evening this had to be thrown away as there was no freezer. I felt the price of the property for two nights was great value As I said at the top of the reveiw, this is a really beautiful, warm and cosy property in a fabulous location but we just felt slightly let down by lack of attention to detail and by the fact that reviews haven't been read. I would definitely return but made sure I had toilet roll! 😂🤣

Property in a good location

Not enough details in the welcome pack, did not know where to leave rubbish, and could not get Stations and a proper guide information on the television.

Location was great. House was lovely.

Hard beds & TV didn't have many channels. No freezer Paid 190 for 1 night, looked it up for next yr same time and it's gone up to 330 which is a massive rise!

Location was brilliant. House was nice.

Toilet seats needed fixing.
