Location was ideal for getting into the heart of York centre with in 7-8 minutes walk. spacious rooms

The mattress in the master suit could do with replacing in the near future it was very firm or had collapsed from all the use it has seen. Some of the rooms could do with a bit of TLC I.e. cracks in back room ceiling and also the furnishing have patches where the leather has worn away also outside bench

Location is really good and within walking distance of the centre. The street was quiet. The price was fair compared to similar properties around the same area. House was pleasant and had character with it being an older house.

House was a bit cold at night and I didn't know how to switch the heating on. Stairs are really steep, especially the ones leading to the bedroom in the loft. Couldn't get the TV in the main bedroom to work, but that didn't bother me much. House could probably do with a lick of paint but overall it's a nice house and we enjoyed our stay.

Location and easy access to property

The heating came in and we didn't know how to turn it off, the property was very hot.

Tv not able to get working in the master bedroom. Tiny amount of tea/coffee

Early checkout at 10am.

Perfect location and plenty of space for everyone.

There was a bit of rubbish left in the kitchen cupboards and the sink. The front door didn’t feel very secure. Parts of the house felt a little tired. Shame the garden couldn’t be used and it was very overgrown and not like the picture shown. Only minor observations not a complaint.

Great location to city centre.

Master bedroom bed was like sleeping on wood, very thin and hard mattress. Towels left damp on bed in one of smaller rooms. Main bathroom toilet seat broken. Shower leaking and very small. Just generally a bit cold and unloved compared to previous places I have stayed at before. Lot of TLC needed to make it feel cosy, comfortable and worth 170 per night.

The location is fantastic, just around the corner from Peel street carpark. Very handy to be able to move the car around the check and checkout times. The facilities and parking permit were a real bonus.

Not so much of a didn't like but you can tell the refreshing of the decoration/ paint work is happening from the attic room down in the house. This did let the property down somewhat. Not having a small freezer would have been a problem for a longer stay but for a short break it was ok. The two of the beds do have what first appeared to be hard mattresses but these actually give a good level of support. Both toilet seats needed tightening.

The house was well equipped and brilliant location.

The top bedroom had been slept in and the towels used as they were wet. There was a breakfast bowl and glass in the drainer as if someone had just left. It didn’t spoil our stay but for some people it might.
