The staff is its greatest asset. They were quite helpful, very friendly, and accommodating when we made a request for another comforter. (The comforter we were given was found to have blood stains on it.) They apologized, and got us another blanket. We had not reserved a room for the following night due to other plans, but when they fell through, we found no vacancies at other hotels. After a long day, we returned to the Comfort Inn to check availability. At the front desk, Amanda was an absolute star, even giving us a discount on a room because we had stayed the night before. We will certainly return to Comfort Inn in New Philadelphia, Ohio, for trips to Amish country.

Not up to par with IGH. Of course like all hotels the lobby is beautiful. The front desk staff was so nice and friendly. But the room wasn’t cleaned all. Crumbs found in the desk chair, hairs on the sink and in the shower. Bath mat was stained. Housekeeping needs some retraining. We sanitized the whole room as soon as we came in. I question any extra sanitizing that is suppose to be done with COVID. If they aren’t cleaning in general I doubt they do anything extra. We won’t return that for sure.
