The view is pretty

You really don’t get your moneys worth here. Two out of four nights we captured cockroaches in our room. Cleaning was supposed to come every day, but in the end they were only there once. Our room was next to the kitchen and the blender would be used at 0715 almost every morning to make breakfast for the other guests which was so loud and woke us up. The curtains don’t go to the floor so the room was also very light. The road to get there is real though, especially with your own scooter at night. The rooms are nice and the view is great, but for the amount of money you pay, you would definitely expect more.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. It was even nicer than on the photos. We were surrounded by nature. The garden was huge and full of green and tropical flowers. We could see monkeys from our windows and hear the song of the birds. It was so peaceful and quiet. Amazing views of the volcano. The apartment was also gorgeous, very tasteful design. Good quality linnen and towels. Hot shower. Bathroom products with good smell. Big and comfortable bed. The fans were more than enough to cool the room down. Free filtered water in the kitchen. And the most amazing breakfast you could wish for! Walking distance from restaurants. One of our favorites was Isla Bonita, delicious local food!

Insects, all kind of… the island is a tropical forest, so it’s part of the deal.

On a eu droit à un magnifique spectacle de singes hurleurs dans les arbres juste à côté de notre chambre… la cerise sur le gâteau ! Je vous le recommande à 1000 % Un lugar increíble con una vista simplemente espectacular al volcán Madera, además de ser muy limpio. Tuvimos un hermoso espectáculo de monos aulladores en los árboles justo al lado de nuestra habitación… ¡la cereza del pastel! Se los recomiendo al 1000 % 🤍

Tout : le service, l’amabilité du personnel, un endroit impeccable et très bien situé. Parfait pour aller visiter la cascade San Ramón, Playa Mango et Balgüe — c’est l’endroit idéal ! Depuis Moyogalpa vers Balgüe, vous pouvez aussi visiter Punta Santa María ainsi que Ojo de Agua avant d’arriver. Todo: el servicio, la amabilidad del personal, un lugar impecable y muy bien ubicado. Perfecto para visitar la cascada San Ramón, Playa Mango y Balgüe, ¡es el lugar ideal! Desde Moyogalpa hacia Balgüe también pueden visitar Punta Santa María y el Ojo de Agua antes de llegar.

The room was beautiful and we loved the deck with the view of the volcano and lake. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The location was a little higher than we anticipated but it was well worth the trip up the hill. Beautifully maintained property and the staff were friendly and polite.

I just loved this place, I dont know where to start, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, I arrived there just as the sun was setting and I had been travelling all day to get there. I noticed the cooler breeze in my face and the first thing I saw was Concepción the Volcano and my jaw dropped, the peace and the tranquility was just amazing, surrounded by total nature. It was late so I ordered a bottle of wine and some food from one of the menu´s they left me from a local restaurant and got it delivered. The breakfasts at the lodge are something else, I also booked a massage in my room which was also amazing. The room I had was next to reception I cant remember what number it was, I think No. 1. I had a room with a terrace out to the garden overlooking the volcano, where I had my breakfast. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen, there were even candles in my room, and hot water was appreciated too. I would not say that this is a complaint but I was on my own and I had not transport so I did not go out in the evenings, only one time to do a sunset kayak tour where they came and picked me up on a motorcycle, you can also book taxi motorcycle´s and mopeds taxis if you ask around. Much cheaper than a taxi and I felt very safe. (I stayed in January).

Amazing spacious room, patio area with hammock, and incredible view to wake up to. Room has no AC but all windows slide open with screens and fans provided are great. Breakfast was also good.

There was a tarantula in my bed that came from under the frame. Comes with the region but that was still a bit scary. Driving with scooter at night up to accommodation was a bit treacherous.

Schöner Ort mit Vulkanblick. Auch ohne 4WD ohne Probleme zu erreichen, freundliches Personal, Nolver war bei der Reservierung der Fähre sehr hilfreich.
