Hampton Inn Battle Creek

Hotel needs a bit of TLC. Needs updated rooms and TV’S.

Everything was good

Arrived at this hotel at 2am in the morning. Left the hotel at before 7am for business. It’s only for small 5 hours. Our credit card was charged $250 dollars for alleging us stolen pillows and beddings. We called the hotel why we are charged at first they said we are smoking in the room and then changed the story and said we stole pillows and beddings. We never gotten any results for the complaint we made.

Outdated and worn decor Dark hallways Unmarked elevator Slow shower drain Ill fitting sheets Front desk was the plus to this place I have stayed in many Hampton hotels but their standards have certainly gone downhill My previous stay in New Jersey was about the same So disappointed

Didn’t list the pool was closed on hotels.com. Light in the bathroom barely worked and couldn’t see anything. Right side of bed sat lower than the left side. Security door on the side of the building wasn’t locked,so anyone could walk in.

Hotel very noisy at night

stopped here as we were driving through. it was late. as we got into the room it smelled and was dirty, but the sheets were clean. it was only after we got settled that I noticed that the knob on the shower was gone. the lady at the front desk was super nice and apologetic. we moved to another room, passing an open breaker box in the hall. After we got settled in the room the nice lady said there was an issue with the toilet and would move us yet again. it was late and the kid was already asleep, so we said we would deal.

Very clean. Our room was spotless

Our freezer froze our food and ruined it but the staff really tried to help and got a new fridge and it did the same thing.

Very dated building needs a major remodel our room did not have a toilet paper holder you could see where there used to be one. Room was clean for the most part just old bathroom fixtures that need attention.

It was a great stay
