I booked a luxury room in the main building, but since there was no elevator and I couldn't manage the stairs (which were numerous), I requested a different category room, which they offered me in the annex. When it came time to pay, I had to pay for the luxury room I didn't use, which I found very unacceptable from such a prestigious hotel.

Very stylish Art Deco property. Lovely gardens. Nice staff.

No pool. Difficult to walk into town across the busy traffic.

Location and history

Very outdated in terms of facilities. Would have been a grand hotel in its day. Needs to be revamped badly as to technology and facilities
