Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort

This was a good sized resort. It didn’t feel the cleanest as far as surfaces, but we didn’t encounter much garbage or trash around. We tried 3 different levels of ice machines and no ice dispensed from any of them. We loved having multiple swimming pools to choose from and the water park was beautiful. Our Sunday at the water park was amazing, we had many service members offering food and drinks. Monday was terrible though. The Cascade Grill was closed that day. I did hear a service member explaining to others that they were offering food and drinks from Point N Thyme that day, however, they never approached us to explain, provide a menu, or take an order. After an hour and a half I ordered Dominos for delivery, thank you driver Chase! The water park does say not outside food, but the door was wide open, and no one was working the towel station. Once we were actively eating a Dominos pizza someone finally came over and asked if we needed anything. I just gestured to our food and said we figured it out. It is difficult to get to local restaurants if you don’t uber or have a car as it’s tucked down a main highway with limited sidewalk access. It is also outside of the Waymo coverage area. This location does have a partial Starbucks, just in case you prefer a Hilton with full service Starbucks on site. The weather was beautiful, and the pools always had clean pool towels stocked and available.

AMAZING! Two teachers on Spring Break could not have been more pleased with the property, staff, food, and atmosphere. Unique lay out of property made you forget that you were in the middle of a major city. Extremely quiet vibe up on the hill. Having desert trails right off property was perfection. Exceptional staff…especially Amy and Braydon at the front desk, Alan who shuttled us all around the property, Joey who hosted Sangria Happy Hour and Tim at the Falls Cafe! Such a special trip! Thanks Hilton at Tapatio Cliffs Resort!
