The location is excellent to get around. The staff was very friendly and accommodating

The rooms are a bit hot and the construction workers start a bit to early. I know this is not your fault. The bar wasn't open to relax on an evening and have a drink.

Great location

Air con didnt work (did have a fan in the room tho). Pillows were hard. Shower rain fell off the wall when taking the shower head off. Although early check in was an option online for £10, we were told it was not guaranteed therefore couldnt check in early.

Suited our needs

The sacks of cement that were meant to be pillows! The roadworks outside which I understand isn’t the hotels fault.

The hotel was close to the centre

The room was extremely hot, there was a fan but there was no way for the air to escape or get in so it was very uncomfortable especially on a hot day. It was really humid and difficult to breathe in. Not enough extract vents (the ones that they did have didn’t work). Although it was a windowless room, I expected there to at least be a ventilation strategy in the absence of windows. Towels were old and scratchy. Room was dirty. There was no sufficient lighting apart from 3 dim lamps dotted around the room. Don’t bother booking here.

Do not stay here in summer, rooms are like a furnace. No air con.

The location is perfect. Close to the city center with a lot of places to eat and shop.

It was close enough to the event I was attending

Construction on the doorstep of the hotel with no prior warning. Made it almost impossible to know how to get to the property from piccadilly station. Staff were rude and unaccommodating. Room was filthy and boiling hot to the point we had to open the room door to get some air in. Some plug sockets were American? and unable to be used. Lift kept breaking during our stay, signs pointing to staircase lead to a cleaning closet and it was not clear how to get down while the lift was out of use. Security demanded both room keys when we returned and j was almost refused entry as we only brought one out with us and was not made aware of this by reception. Reception also provided no information on what to expect, what time cleaners come etc. was just handed keys and sent on our way
