Britannia Sachas Hotel

I’ve stayed before and its location is very convenient for the city centre.

The room was comfortable and clean but the hotel was very noisy at night both from a location point of view and other guests slamming doors. Work was being undertaken outside the property which meant access was through an alley way full of people in doorways and revellers urinating. The work (unrelated to the property) began quite early on the Sunday morning after a disturbed night which was a shame.

L'hotel è vecchio e fatiscente. Sporco, le camere vengono rifatte solo ogni 4 giorni, lo scarico del bagno funzionava a malapena.

The noise during the night and early morning was horrendous!

Location

Staff were over stretched rooms had no window. Builders left obstacles in the corridors “trip hazard” no iron in the room or available.

There were some workman right outside my room was a big crane and lots of banging from early morning until late into the evening there was no warning and I also paid elevated prices due to a number of events happening in Manchester for £420 I expect a decent nights quiet sleep I’m disabled and I need a good sleep for my mobility and mental health I am now very stressed due to lack of sleep I mentioned it to the receptionist but there was no offer of help said they couldn’t do anything but to send an email I’m tired in pain and very disappointed

The staff were genuinely really nice and the reception is lovely.

The hotel and rooms are diabolically hot. They did move us into a different room but this still made zero difference. We got zero sleep. The rooms really need refurbishment. Very old and outdated.
