Days Inn by Wyndham Concordia

This is the third time I've stayed here in the past 4 months or so. I needed a place with semi truck parking. That was top priority. They do have that.

Cable tv was removed since my last stay. Now you have to use your own streaming accts on a roku. Less for same price. Also small tv. Bed was hard as a rock. My cot when I was deployed in Iraq was more comfortable. Vending machines don't take credit cards. Most other hotels have this feature. WIFI is HORRIBLE!! What is it 56k dial-up? Had to go outside to get enough cellular signal to order doordash food. No iron or ironing board like most other hotels. Toilet paper holder is falling off, shower curtain rod is loose, sloppy looking drywall patches. Just a janky run-down looking room. Didn't try the breakfast. I always check out very early in the morning.

The room smelled moldy. The bedding had a cigarette burn.

Despite the very clear and obvious fact that this is a small establishment very little in the way of offered amenities, I found myself quite enjoying my stay. There was a young clerk on duty who was absolutely kind. She recommended me a wonderful little locally owned place that served me a divine dinner. I would stay again simply for the meticulous care from Jasmine. I wish that more hotels hired people like her, who clearly love their jobs.

The door to our room had a hole in the bottom large enough for a mouse to crawl in. The sink had no stopper to hold the water. The bathtub water didn’t drain properly and we never could get hot water in the bathtub. The table lamp by the desk had no light bulbs in it. The floor was gritty like it hadn’t been cleaned. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

The place was a mess, yes they were doing some repairs to it however there was no seal under the door entrance to the room and rain came in so had to use a towel to stop the water coming in over the sill. In fact the only thing good about the entire experience was it was a very comfortable bed. loud compressor on the A/C unit. No one at the front desk and had to call the number to get some one up front to check in. I would not recommend this as a place to stay.

It's a fine place to stay. They are remodeling and renovating. All was clean and staff were professional and efficient.

Good location (close to the highway and easy to find), pet-friendly. The staff were helpful and nice.

Facilities are pretty worn-down and dirty. Our sheets either were stained, or hadn’t been changed before we arrived. There is a lot of deferred maintenance at the property as a whole.
