Cleanliness. Smoke free room smelled like smoke, had cigarette stains on phone by bed. When I went to ask for a different room, the room they gave me smelled like rotting food, there was water damage next to the AC, and stains on the bedskirt.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean

Location - miles away from food outlets & stuck between major highways. Needs brightening up both inside & outside.

Staff were great.

Not really “fairgrounds” and was further than expected. Property needs an overhaul.

It’s important to begin by stating that the staff could not have been friendlier or more hospitable! Each person we encountered was incredibly kind, and we felt very welcomed. We were in town for the Duke vs Syracuse football game, so the room price was artificially inflated for the age and condition of the hotel. The room was okay, but the hallway was dark and a little damp smelling. The carpet was also mysteriously dark, and the AC unit in our room was extremely loud. However, there was alway hot coffee, and again, everyone was friendly. Overall, an 6.75 out of 10 stay.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
