The hotel has a great location, close to downtown, popular tourist spots, and the bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant.

The hotel was smaller and less comfortable than I had expected for the price. The room did not have a kitchen or sink, the bathroom ventilator was not functioning, and the carpet could have been cleaner. Additionally, the room lacked a large window, so natural light was limited. The breakfast was grab-and-go, which was not what I had expected. While the stay was adequate, it did not fully meet my expectations.

Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a booking issue that appears to have been caused by a system error on your platform, resulting in an unauthorized double charge. On [insert date you made the second reservation], I made a reservation through your website for a stay in Philadelphia, scheduled from May 30 to May 31, 2025. Shortly afterward, and without logging out, I began arranging a second reservation for a stay in New York City, intending the dates to be May 31 to June 3, 2025. However, when I proceeded to finalize the payment for the second booking, the system automatically carried over the previous dates (May 30 to May 31), incorrectly assigning them to the New York City stay. This resulted in two separate bookings for the same date, something your system should reasonably detect and prevent. I immediately contacted Booking.com customer support and was advised to reach out to the hotel directly. The hotel, in turn, directed me back to Booking.com, creating a frustrating cycle without resolution. Since I urgently needed accommodation in New York, I proceeded to make a new booking with the correct dates (May 31 to June 3, 2025). However, the incorrect reservation for May 30 to 31 in NYC remains active and was charged, effectively creating a duplicate charge for the same night. Therefore, I respectfully request: A full refund or travel credit for the incorrect NYC reservation dated May 30 to 31. That your technical team reviews this issue to prevent similar errors in the future. Attached are the relevant booking numbers and any supporting documentation to facilitate your review of my case. I look forward to a prompt and fair resolution.
