Balai Princesa

The rooms are spacious, clean and good asian inspired interior. They have free use of suna and bubble bath. Also the in house Balai Massage yhey offer is one of the best massage I ever had. The staff are veru helpful arranging our tours in Puerto Princesa. They are also very helpful in all our inquiries and request.

Although it’s a small, five rooms property, the rooms are huge in size and there are lots of nicely decorated places to sit, have coffee and chit chat. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant attached to it, serves good food although the bar needs to be better stocked. There aren’t many options for breakfast but it was sumptuous. It’s located in a calmer area of Puerto Princesa, away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

There aren’t any options to eat nearby and the grocery store is also a bit far away.

We stayed here for one night after flying in from Manila. The place has a small spa vibe with rattan furniture and the pleasant smell of essential oils. Our room and en suite was lovely, spacious and a welcome escape from the traffic in PP. We didn't walk around the area as there didn't seem to be places to eat but ate in the restaurant which is small but nice enough. Before dinner we made use of their outside jacuzzi which is nicely lit up in the dark. They'd also prepared the sauna for us which are individual pods but after a few mins we were done - who wants a sauna in the tropics?! You need a tuk-tuk to get to downtown PP from the hotel. Overall highly recommended.

The staff were really friendly and we loved the jacuzzi and Sauna. The room is god size and clean.

The hotel is not close to the main centre.

The staff are warmth and accommodating. they were well supportive and had assist us in our requirements. Jacuzzi was enjoyable

NO TV in the room

The location was good, pretty close to everything. Room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Massage was amazing

Staff in the cafe could be better. I bought a can of beer and instead of them opening it and pouring it into a glass I had to do it myself. When I did the beer exploded everywhere…. All over my bag and my clothes. The male assistant looked at me and asked if I shook the can (really). Offering no assistance to clean myself up after being sprayed. I laughed it off but the assistance could have been better. I also got somebody else’s laundry. And when I arrived at 9.30am I had to go and make myself busy in town due to not being able too checkin in Attention to detail could be better I think
