The property truly is stunning. From the grounds to the views. Spa is a spacious beautiful setting, however no music, just quiet. Boat tour operators are available. I recommend visiting the Nubian Village. I recommend using only Nubian boat operators. They have a longer history of navigating the Nile from many generations. Food in the restaurants here are very nice, plentiful options, and in some cases generous portions. Thank you to Peter for providing such excellent service during tea time. Thank you to Mohammed, a young lad in the 1902 dinner restaurant for your exceptional service and attention to every detail. Even providing us a wine tasting experience with our meal. Very grateful for the experience! Lastly, a big thank you to the absolutely gentle soul Mahmoud, who so nicely cleaned our shoes after a full day's hike in the dessert. Wonderful, well trained staff. I would kindly note, that tea time does have some restrictions, however, all was handled respectively.

Great Hotel, from food, to service to facilities, services , I wish I had stayed here for my entire visit, will be visiting again.

For our 25th anniversary we booked a high tea at The Old Cataract hotel. It was amazing. They wrote that they would make it unforgettable and they did. Great reception and a perfect table at the Promenade. Everything was nice and we even got a special cake and the staff sang to us. Many thanks to Martina for welcoming us and Mr. Nagy and Mr. Ahmed and their wonderful staff for the great experience. To top it all of we got a tour to the suites where Agatha Christie and Sir Winston Churchill stayed. In the last one we saw a picture of Sir Winston with our former queens Juliana and Beatrix. Thank you Menna for this special tour.

O hotel é enorme, quartos gigantes e muito sofisticados. Vc se sente um faraó. Piscina, academia e 2 dos 3 restaurantes excelentes.

Internet pessima no hotel--não condiz com o valor pago pelos quartos, reposição das coisas nos quartos é falha e existe um elemento ridiculo no hotel: um restaurante que vc tem que ir de blazer e sapato social. Eu não tinha um "sapato social" porque estava de férias e não me deixaram entrar. Achei muito ruim isso.

Petit déjeuner exceptionnel dans une salle magique. Buffet varié avec en plus la possibilité de commander des plats chauds.

L'établissement étant dans un bâtiment historique il faut accepter aussi la vétusté des installations.

Such a lovely hotel with an excellent view. Recommend having drinks with sunset. And if you are early you can catch the high tea as well. (You need to pay 1500 in advance per person) but worth the trip
