This a unique place: charm, history, comfort, service and view, view, view. Once in a life is worth to try. For the first time we did something we (almost) never do: relaxing in the hotel to enjoy the place, the pool, the terrace and the view

Beside the terrace, we did not like the offer of the restaurants. Too international, for our taste

Absolutely fantastic suite overlooking the Nile. All staff were very good but two stood out as exceptional - Marvel on front desk and our ‘fixer’ and Soliman at the Promenade Bar who was so helpful and attentive.

Amazing hotel, full of history, Shaza from the reception. She was amazing very hospitable very warm very welcoming.And also sabry from the restaurant is also amazing .. both made our trip worthwhile

Shaza made our first visit to the Old Cataract Hotel memorable. Her tour was engaging- she’s a good storyteller- and perfectly showed the hotel’s history and elegance. Her stories about the hotel’s famous guests brought space to life in a way that felt both personal and authentic. We also had lunch at Al Saraya restaurant and Saber was the best server ever- even better than the food itself! What a wonderful introduction to an iconic hotel- highly recommended.

The saraya Restaurant was great and the stuff was amazing and helpfull all the food was very fresh and tasty, Martina Specially was the best and helped me so mush, i recommend to stay in the Hotel or Just for a visting one day with Voucher you will enjoy every Detail Inside and Outside ist good, This ist unforgettable impression

High tea at the Old Cataract was terrible Tea bags [not tea pots], no scones, indifferent service and extremely over-priced We were also cold and staff dod not offer to turn on heaters

I had an amazing stay at Sofitel Old Cataract Aswan. Everything was exceptional, but I especially want to highlight how thoughtfully the team accommodated my dietary requirements at breakfast. A special thank you to Amr, who made every morning start beautifully with his genuine kindness and welcoming smile. He went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of, which truly made a difference to my stay. The service, attention to detail, and warmth of the staff made this experience unforgettable. I would absolutely love to return.
