OYO Silver Spur Burns Hwy 20

Despite having a reservation made a month prior, when we arrived we were told our reservation had been given away and there were no rooms. We had to drive 3.5 hrs, in the middle of the night with no cell service, to find another hotel. Still waiting on a refund.

Contacting the property was tricky, but if you get an email with a booking id and click the link, there is a way to call the property directly. That is how we confirmed our booking, even tho thru this app the representative claimed our booking didnt show in their system. So make sure to check your email and confirm via phonecall. Kelsha was very helpful.

This was a very good place to stay.

Broken down autos in parking lot, 1/3 of rooms had mattresses out the doors, cleaning lady said major bug problem.

Remodeling. Rooms were in poor condition. Should be better when finished.

Shower caulking around bottom had gaping holes in it. Window curtain on east side of room - one end of rod holder was down, other end twisted. Curtain sheer and too short to cover windows. Decor looks like original decor to go with "Silver Spur" name. Desk sturdy. Outside-Area next to office by rooms full of junk. Corner of ell filled with furniture removed from other rooms. Possible remodel - it needs it. BTY-my wife would probably rate it at -1 or less stars

They were in the middle of renovations and the property was a bit in disarray. The linens were clean and the bed comfortable. We had reserved 2 beds but they only had 1 bed per room as the renovations limited the amount of rooms available.

First of all I was told they were “remodeling”. I have seen a lot of remodeling projects and this was more like a hoarder moving stuff around. Pretty junky. No TV (the owner was “in a dispute with the cable company “) no Wi-Fi, the password worked but service was spotty enough you had to be in the parking lot to use it. I know that’s not their fault but really? My room had a funky smell like sewer issues were a problem. I wish I could get my money back. I have never left a review like this and I don’t want employees to suffer but this might be my worst stay ever. I left at 5:00 am just to get out of there.
