We found the Graves Mountain Farms/Lodges to be a terrific location for a visit to Shenandoah NP. The property offers a range of overnight choices - from motel-like "Lodge" choices to individual free-standing cabins/homes with multiple bedrooms. All this on an 1800 acre spread with hiking trails, a working farm, a bold creek and pond for fishing, horseback riding . . . . a destination in itself. We met the owners - on their farm - and found them to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a nice all you can eat buffet dinner one night. This is NOT a fancy 'dude ranch', it is a real farm/ranch - with the sites and sounds of one.

I won't say I didn't specifically like anything so much as to say it is an old farm. The "Lodge" building we stayed in was nice enough, had a great view that reminded me of Grant Wood's farm paintings. It was older, rough wood siding, probably a little dated, but felt just right in that farm location.

Essen war super, auch mit Gemüse und Salat. Der Natur Spaziergang mit Daniel sehr informativ und viele von Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit .

Wenn man reiten anbietet sollte das auch für alle möglich sein, auch für behinderte. Wenn bestimmte Menschen ausgeschlossen sind sollte das vorher klar formuliert werden. Wenn man mit einem Pool wirbt sollte Wasser drin sein! Und Teppiche kann man auch hinter Schränken und Betten saugen. Genau so wie man Handtücher vor der Auslage auf Flecken prüfen kann.

L'emplacement est vraiment super pour profiter de la région. Le personnel est sympathique et le restaurant sur place est de bonne qualité.

Grosse déception sur la propreté. Le ménage n'était pas à la hauteur, surtout avec des frais de ménage facturés 100$. Le plus gros problème reste la présence massive d'insectes à l'intérieur (cafards, fourmis, punaises et même des guêpes). C’est inacceptable, surtout pour un séjour en famille. Le rapport qualité/prix n'est pas au rendez-vous à cause de ce manque d'entretien.
