Baymont Inn & Suites Florence by Wyndham

When i arrived the hotel was overbooked. I got placed in a room that looks like it is scheduled for renovations and was not suppose to have guest. I am happy that clerk found me a safe room to sleep in when they already turned others with reservations away.

Nasty nasty nasty place wish I could get refunded

Not only was the front desk person very rude he was lazy too. When we booked the trip we called the hotel to ahead to make them aware that we were arriving around 330am and they said there was staff 24/7. The day of our reservation, March 27/28 we went to check in after a long and rainy trip to find that the front desk person who made us wait 20 minutes to check in as he was doing his end of night reconciliation had cancelled our reservation since we weren’t there by 3 am. After about an hour after I called hotels.com, they got on with the front desk and recreated a new reservation so that we could check in. What a nightmare! Then when we finally got to the room, it reaked like cigarettes and there were cockroaches that scattered when we turned the light on! Needless to say we tried to get another room and he didn’t have anything. We kept our belongings in the car and only stayed about two hours and checked out. We were way too upset to argue with this idiot again, dropped the key off and left onto the last leg of our trip. This was by far the worst experience we ever had at a hotel and will never stay at one of these places ever again! And as a kick in the head they charged me twice for the room!

I love Baymont

I wouldnt recommend anyone stay there, it was a mess. There were roaches, t.v. was broken, dirty floors, microwave inside was burnt out and nasty. I changed rooms to another filthy room. Also, police had to come and arrest a man for fighting his girlfriend and another situation happened with some younger kids where a girl that was pregnant left her room cause her boyfriend hit her. People were playing loud music in the breezeway for hours at night. Its just wasnt comfortable and peaceful at all.

To all my years dealing with Expedia it was the worst hotel ever I guess this is kind of hotel you can rent out for a whole week people were grilling making noise to 3:00 a.m. in the morning felt very uncomfortable because people keep asking me for money outside of my hotel room the hotel was dirty and they had roaches so I left at 4:00 a.m. to find another hotel
