The caretaker was wonderful, anything you needed or wanted she try help you. Cheaper in Cantwell than up North.

Outside could use cleaning up

The room is ok nice and clean as shown in the photos. Water tap is installed opposite than what you normally have, i e. Left is cold, right is hot.. shower water is hard to adjust to the right temperature because it is confusing. Overall it's clean. It's only 30 mins away from Denali Visitor center and Bus depot. Beautiful view of the mountains.

Outside needs to be updated. Walking around the property does give you chills and a horror movie vibe. Railway track is right next to the motel. Trains passed by at 1.49am another at 4 am. Yes that keeps you awake. Thin walls, you can literally hear the people walking in the middle of the night. No bug screen on window so you can't really have the window open, it's hot and stuffy in an overcast day.. can't imagine when it's sunny out. Breakfast food looks like leftover food, PB jar has graffiti saying "Dogs-Do not eat" ..

It was very clean & cozy.

Clean, comfortable room. Easy to locate. Easy parking. Great communication with Cynthia! Breakfast spread was amazing! Bath towels soft and fluffy! Excellent value for the cost!

There's a reason no one stays in Cantwell ... that is unless you're fishing or you are wanting a "real" off-the-beaten-track experience. Beautiful spot and there are many very nice homes hidden in the woods on the other side of the railroad tracks. Never saw another person. Nice artwork on the walls of our room(s). Best breakfast during the whole time in Alaska (including gluten-free, keto type items) and warm items were warm.

Never saw another person. including at breakfast. No place to eat. Railroad crossing (meaning loud horns when a train came through). Tracks and crossing were super close to building. Totally opposite to anything in the cities of Anchorage and Fairbanks,

Great place. That was our best stay in Alaska. Beautiful two piece room, gives a feeling of privacy, though close to Denali and all the attractions there. Just half an hour drive.

Too bad you don’t let the bad comments come through or call customers back when they have questions with health concerns at your facility.

Best host ever. very welcoming, friendly and generous. Thankyou Cynthia for making our trip a very memorable one.
