The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa

We’ve stayed here several times with our two elementary aged kids. Very comfortable and great amenities and activities for them/all of us.

Our upgrade was a downgrade! We had a confirmed reservation for a King Bed room with a Twin Trundle Bed and Mountain View. (My experience is the Mountain View rooms are quieter. ) Because of my Titanium Elite status, we were "upgraded" to an 8th floor, Golf view. Sounded good, but beware! The small room had a King bed, no trundle, no refrigerator, the tiniest balcony ever seen and only one bath robe. We were 1 room from the 8th floor elevator and right next door to the ice machine! The noise from the restaurant, televisions and the courtyard below were horrible. Don't let them put you in Room 8049!

WOW! I had never stayed here but heard so much about it and so glad we decided to finally come. The resort is absolutely beautiful. We were welcomed by Matthew R. who told us a little about the resort as well the restaurants here. Christina V. had given us such a beautiful room that we did not want to leave. Their bar along the golf course to watch the sunset is gorgeous and I recommend if you come to check it out. Their happy hour was great and even with the great options next-door at the mall we never left. WOW the pool is just WOW. We came on spring break weather was perfect, but still not as great as their pool. The housekeeper Jennifer was so inviting and really made me feel like I was home every night we stayed. They had a surfing experience, a lazy river, delicious options while you lay and enjoy! You cannot go wrong with anything and I cannot wait to come back.

We have not even checked in yet but wanted to give a shout out to the staff at Westin . Our family spreads across the country and we try to gather here 1 time a year. The staff is so accommodating from adding a microwave to rooms to late check out. This staff never says “ sorry we are totally booked so can’t accommodate”. Like other hotels who say this when you have already looked on line and there is plenty of rooms. They are trained well and polite and accommodating. Thank you : customer service here is outstanding. As a grandparent who only sees our grandchildren a few times a year I try to make these vacations seemless and the staff at this Westin eases my mind. We cannot wait to arrive in a few days. Great golf course, beautiful rooms

Our family had an absolutely incredible time at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional service we received from every member of the staff. This resort is fantastic for teenagers, providing them with a sense of independence around the resort and having the mall next door to walk around on their own. Upon arrival, Samantha made the check-in process a breeze and set such a warm, welcoming tone for the entire stay. Giovanni’s breakfast service was another highlight—his attention to detail and genuine care made our mornings feel extra special. We also had a fantastic dinner at Antadote, where the team was incredibly accommodating, ensuring all our needs were met with a smile. The coffee bar staff, friendly lifeguards, and outstanding housekeeping all played a part in making our visit even more enjoyable. We truly felt taken care of by everyone we encountered. A special thank you to Marshauna Butler, the Manager, who personally reached out to us to ensure we had an amazing stay. This thoughtful gesture truly went above and beyond, and it made us feel even more valued as guests. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, and we felt so lucky to have the space to reconnect as a family, especially with our two teenagers. The time we spent together was exactly what we needed, and this property was the perfect place for us to recharge and create lasting memories. We’d like to extend our deepest thanks to the entire team for their outstanding service and hospitality. Thank you for providing such a wonderful environment for us to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We will definitely be returning in the future and will eagerly share our positive experience with friends and family.

Spotty cell phone service and intermittent WiFi. Lax maintenance on the property. My room had a broken sliding glass door (which they sent two handymen to fix, but why should I waste my time with this?) Room also had a spot to plug in a phone charger that didn't work. Again - waited for a handyman (another half hour of my life) and he moved the furniture and plugged it into the wall. For $800 a night, why is this my job to have fixed??

This is generally a nice place. Vibe is a little hard to pin down. When I was there, it was a mix of eclectic business conferences and families. I didn't use the pool so no comments there, looked nice from afar. Gym was a highlight, lots of machines, generally quiet, lots of water and fresh fruit. Bed and pillows were comfy. And just a short walk to a large, nice outdoor mall. On the down side, the small stuff was very expensive. Drinks at the bar very expensive, as were basic supplies at the hotel store. But under the right circumstances I would certainly go back.
