Spacious, roomy accommodation.

The electronic entry system was not user friendly. The need to call out the caretaker should not have been necessary. Although the kitchen appliances were of a high specification, the standard of kitchen utensils were poor ie plastic cutlery, burnt saucepans and frying pans. It was our first experience of accommodation anywhere in the world with a noise monitoring display. This was disconcerting and affected the enjoyment of our stay. We were assured before booking that the sauna was a 'traditional Finnish sauna'. The sauna was in fact an infrared sauna not traditional.

Location is okay since it is near friend's but it is not accessible to public transportation. Tolerable for one to 2 days stay.

Inside of the rental unit is poorly maintained; e.g. Crack on tiles, water gathering at sink of bathroom because not aligned properly. Bath rug was moldy. Towels and linens were old, stained and do not look fresh. Space is a bit cramped. No common space except for kitchen/dining area for the family to interact. Very warm and can't open windows bec. of rain. The electric fans were too dusty to use. Owner was not onsite nor responsive to address the issue.

The house is beautifully furnished, and we loved having a bathroom for every bedroom upstairs! It swas wonderful for my whole family, and there was very little noise from other renters, so that was fantastic.

The description was very confusing. We thought we were getting 2 basement suites and the house, but we only ended up with one basement suite and the house. Since the booking is per room, it wasn't clear what we were going to have. We also asked for a crib and highchair to be in place when we arrvied, and those weren't there, but the owners provided them fairly quickly.

They didn't provide shampoo, and the bed sheets had stains on them

There wasn’t a physical key. Light bulb was worn out. Iron leaked water. Washer did not work properly.

Enough room for 4, have dishwasher and laundry.

Heating system doesn't working properly

It was very modern and the bedrooms all had ensuites. Very comfortable. We had the main section of the house.

The fact that there was someone else living in the back of the house ( believe the owners mother), with only a lock door between us. The lock was on the other side to us. This meant that they had free rein over the house when we were absent. At stage we heard the door unlock and the next the elderly woman was in our kitchen. We could hear if she sneezed or was cooking or had music on. We had not set the alarm when we to dinner as absolutely no instructions had been left for us. On our arrival back the alarm was set off by one of group think that the front door had already been unlocked. Rang owner for alarm code to disarm. Went to voice mail next the woman walked into kitchen with phone, which was the owner with the code. He was not impressed with the alarm going off.
