The Chateau

Space was good. Bedding spotless. Area was easily accessible. Good range of utensils crockery and cutlery.

Bath could have been cleaner and there were only used, dirty cleaning cloths for washing up in the kitchen area. Went to iron, but although there was an ironing board never found the iron.

The chateau was neat and tidy, with all basic amenities available. Beautiful exterior.

Suite was in basement, no proper cooling was there. Although opening of windows did the magic for us.

The pictures were misleading. They put you in a basement like setting with the front door your only way out in case of an emergency. We booked for 7 people but only 5 of us used it (2 people had to go back home due to certain circumstances). Idk why they advertised that it can accommodate 7 people. With just the 5 of us, it felt very cramped. No living room and kitchen (the only place where we can all gather) was too small. To top it all, the phone number listed at booking.com was not the right one. We had a hard time getting hold of the host. No instructions at all when we got there.

Bathroom amenities only provide bath gel and a small piece of soap; no shampoo provided

Stained pillow case, only one used soap in the bathroom, empty shampoo bottle, can hear upstairs in the morning at 7am, can't sleep well, hard to find entrance

I liked Everything about it. Big rooms, comfortable beds , shower in each room snd AC.

Again, kitchen was lacking proper cutlery. I had to use cardboard knife to cut a bread . Towels can be better quality and have few more particularly hand towels. 10 am checking out in not the best . Too early .

Lots of rooms , every unit had its own washer /dryer. Beds were comfortable . Rooms were large with lots of space to move around . Upper floor units(main house) are stunning and worth renting if you have high expectations. Place is huge, rooms are big, each room comes with its bathroom .. big enough for large gatherings .

Kitchen was not properly equipment Lack of cutlery,proper cutting knives, dish cloth , garbage bags . Bathrooms were lacking hand soap , not enough towels to wipe hands or face cloth. Outdoor garbage was overflowing, trashed by wild animals overnight. With amount of people renting all units there was not enough garbage disposal and proper garbage enclosure . Don’t count using sofa beds for sleeping. Not comfortable.

So many things to say about that SMALL place… First of all, the pictures posted on the website were in NO ways matching the reality. We were supposed to have a house, and ended up in the basement of this house. Practically no windows so the place was very dark. FURTHEMORE no soap or shampoo were given because it can be “allergic” but at the same time there were dirty used up sauces in the kitchen which can be allergic .. so what’s the point ???? And because its never ending everything was so dirty, hair in beds, stains in the oven, dirty carpet… We tried to call the host but he was not helpful at all. BIG DECEPTION FUYEZ !!!!!
