Fairfield Inn by Marriott Philadelphia West Chester/Exton

Had a major issue at the front desk with the person checking me and my family in. Leading to the individual telling me he was going to "call the police", there where no threats or abuse of anything there or anything that would warrant that reaction from the person - aside from ( in their words) "youre not understanding me". My five year old son SHOULDNT be part of his CRASHOUT! Please review the cameras and address this w the property - I surely need something done as he attempted to disrespect me in front of of my child and then of course SCARE my five year old b/c he heard "Im going to call the Police". Keep in mind I asked him numerous times to have me speak with a manager...realizing he was limited in what he could say/do for me. I ordered the room via a third party and didn't have to pay via card - planned on paying in cash once I got there and he said the company policy was Card...thats fine...Im ok with that, now let's work on delivery and threats...b/c thats too much for someone coming to your property ( out of the way) to spend their money.

Front desk checkin ( one person). Extremely aggressive and threatening with his words, yet, limited with his actions/abiilities to resolve the situation ( no one else was there...I was the ONLY person checking in). Threatening "police" in front of a five year old is ABOVE and BEYOND.

Room was clean

The hallway looked dated

staff is horrible. tv didn’t work, no water one day of stay (unable to shower& flush toilet) asked for compensation they offered to take off one day and instead charged me again! issue is still nt resolved

Location

The room had bed bugs and my friend had bites all over her leg and arm (I have pictures). We had to move to another room. I was uncomfortable the entire stay based on this situation. Management wasn’t very friendly either.

I was in room 125 directly across from the coffee bar and dining area. As soon as breakfast was being served and people started to gather my chance of sleeping in was out the window. Who would put rooms immediately adjacent to a dining room and coffee bar??? you would think that a major hotel chain would understand that people may be still sleeping. Not what I would expect from a Marriott!!!
