Paint falling on my head whe taking shower, baseboards rotting holes in sheets

We didnt even stay. After arrivi g and seeing all furniture outside the room, the smells and the very apparent drug use going on down from where our room was.

Actually was clean, and cheap. It served it's purpose. Sheets were stained, but it's a cheap older hotel. Expectations weren't exactly high. Sheets were clean, all I really cared about.

Our room was a non smoking, because I have asthma and can't even handle the smell of smoke. Someone in the room over, was also in a non smoking room, but it didn't stop them. When we got to the room, it was fine. We woke up about 4am, and the room smelled of cigarette smoke and weed. Talked to the front desk clerk, and we weren't the first to mention this. It was known that the person next to us, was smoking in a non smoking room. However, they were paid up for a few days, and couldn't do anything. We booked the hotel with a couple family members. They were in a room above us. The room they booked was absolutely disgusting and had nasty carpet. Obvious signs of bed bugs also. We were in a room that they just finished remodeling. I'd imagine if you get the remodeled rooms, it'll be fine. Every other hotel in the area was full. Had to just settle for them. Our room was great, up until the smoke started getting to us. They got their money back and decided to just drive home for the night, about 3 hours away. Appears the hotel has a lot actually living in it as a permanent residence. Remodeled rooms seem ok, but I'd still be cautious about the cleanliness of the rooms, if that really gets to you. Even the remodeled rooms may go down hill soon enough. Likely won't come back to the hotel, if I can avoid it.

There was a nice pool, but no stairs...

I got bed bugs, their was a red centipede crawling on my shoe. Cockroaches crawling up the walls, also the staff and the owner are very violent and not nice at all.

They have a really nice pool and supply towels . Very friendly staff.
