AmeriVu Inn-Gilbertsville

We like the location considering what we go to do there for fishing. Bait shop across the street right down the road from a Love's truck Stop which is convenient, and write down the road from the damn where we go fishing. Location is key.

The room was dirty everything was very dusty I had to wipe everything down when we got there there was burn holes in the sheets and blankets stains on the wall what looked like black mold coming through the ceiling there was dirty stained wash rags and towels in the bathroom and what was in there was not enough there was only two towels and there was four of us saying there and only one wash rag. The air conditioner was loud and made a lot of noise. The windows were very dirty. Not everything was accessible the plug-in such as the lamps that were already in the room. And the Continental breakfast was not up to par only offering waffles and cereal. And one of the days they did not have coffee ready, and did not have milk for the cereal.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Price is very reasonable and has a very nice pool .Close to stores,gas station, restaurant and lake .

Roaches, rude front desk workers. Requested non smoking lower level (due to bad knee and previous knee surgery) didnt get any of that. Charged more than the receipt printed stated.

For the most part cleaned, I would invest in the plumbing cause everytime you flush or anyone else did, you can hear it but besides that- great experience

The people was super apologetic and super nice. Our lock on the door didn’t work so after a few tries we finally got moved to another room. We were there to go fishing and when we tried to leave we got stalled. So when we were able to leave it started raining lol so we had to wait again. We went to the breakfast there wasn’t hardly anything there. No fruit or juice. Just some cereal and a couple of bagels, waffles and milk from jugs. The room was mostly clean but could most definitely have been cleaner. Tue people we’re working hard and very friendly.
