Liked that it was quiet and private didn't like that it lawn was not mowed roads could have been updated carpeting updated and new Mirror On Wall paper let me see everything
While we had to 2 hours for the room the amenities did make up for our wait. Dining options around the property are amazing.
The heat was broken, the water for the hot tub wouldn’t stay hot. The room smelled of smoke. We they said they couldn’t change us to a different room because they were all dirty. So they bought a rolling heater to the room.
The hotel was advising people to boil thier sink water before drinking it the water park was partially closed thier lake lagoon resort section was absolutely filthy and thier pool was the only clean looking swimming area kiddie pool and hot tub water looked green and opaque
Didn’t have hot water to shower Took an hour to check in
Got moved to some 80s condo on the golf course after water issue. Mouse dropping next to the bed and food crumbs on top of the fridge. Condo complex was something out of The Shining, but that’s why I love Pennsyltucky! Ate some nice Amish barbecue chicken and played a round or golf. Pocono real estate ads have fronts for “other” services.
I like that Split Rock have different activies to do on and around the property.
There was the worst place ever stayed at no hot water then there was no hot water didn’t advertise that everything in the resort was closed. Also told them about needing handicap room and they sent us to the furthest place the resort with a handicap wife and nobody to help with our baggage. It’s a joke.

Booked two rooms not adjoining, but next to each other, allowed me to check in 8pm but one was not cleaned, no cleaning personnel to clean at that time, moved my kids room four rooms away no long next to each otherWater park closed, restaurant on property only open on weekends, pool and rec area closed certain hours due to private parties, rooms outdated, no utensils or cups in the rooms,
