We went to check in and the elevators were down. My 77 yr old father would of had to walk 3 flights of steps. The air conditioning was not working so the rooms were hot.we didnt stay and i want a refund. I will never go back. Its suppose to be a big great resort but nothing works. And u cant drink the water.

"Stay somewhere else. "

We got there at 2:00 and it took nearly an hour to get checked in. They said we couldn’t get our room key till after 4:00 (understandable I guess). 4:00 rolls around and it took almost an hour to get our room key because everyone else who checked in early came back at that time. The room was not nearly as updated and clean as the pictures online showed. The ceiling tile in the shower was bowed and about to fall down because of water leak from above room. Told the front desk, maintenance replaced the tile but didn’t fix the leak as it was saturated and about to fall down again less than 4 hours later. Room only came with two towels even though we booked it for 4 people. Try calling the front desk(LOL). No one ever picked up. Drove to the front desk and asked for more towels. Towels never showed up, so had to try to communicate with a nice but non English speaking worker to get more towels. Wall paper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom, A/C barely worked, and walls were paper thin. Forgot to mention I heard two separate people in line that their room was given away to someone else and they had no more available rooms. Half of the water park was shut down but still cost $30 per person. Don’t expect to put more than 8 water bottles into the fridge which also barely collapse BTW and expect it to close cause it’s so tiny.

"Facility is okay but service is non-existent"

Check in was very slow and disorganized. It took almost 40 minutes because the clerks spent about 15 minutes checking in each group. The clerk helping us couldn't find my reservation even with the confirmation number and had to go in the back twice before finally coming back with information written on her hand which somehow allowed her to find our reservation. The room had a pull out bed but no bedding provided. I called the front desk four times between 10pm and 1am before it finally arrived. Later the toilet clogged and I was told there was no maintenance available on the weekends but they'd send us a plunger. It took 3 hours and several calls for the plunger to arrive. We canceled our second night's stay and left the next morning. Also, there is no ice available.

When you arrive at split rock lodge, you need to go to the Towne Center to check in! Not the lodge, and they don’t tell or direct you to the towne center. Very frustrating and confusing! However our room at willow brook, a suite, was very nice!

Check in line was long and slow moving. Seems many rooms were not ready yet. While our room was ready, I was told the night before when someone called me from the hotel that the room would have 2 beds - not a bed and the dreaded sofa bed. Unfortunately that’s exactly what we got - the sofa bed was the 2nd bed. There were two towels in the entire room. No wash cloths and no smaller hand towels. I also had to find an employee to get a remote for the TV - which worked half the time. The room we had was in a different building from the front desk - but there was no phone in the room to be able to request these items. When I called from my cell phone, someone in California answered and gave me wrong info. The only positive of the stay was the owner of the Hub. He was super friendly and helpful.

Very few dining options on site. Property amenities: mini golf, bocce, outdoor pool, beach were unavailable. Indoor pool and hot tub were dirty.
