Red Roof Inn & Suites Hermitage

By far the filthiest hotel. Bedding was not changed. Bedding covered in hair. AC filter filthy. Shower drain clogged. Shower lining cracked and moldy. Television not working. Asked for new linens then a new room and staff disappeared. Left after waiting an hour. No refund offered. No receipt given.

The building reeked of stale cigarette smoke. We opened the window on the 2nd floor to let fresh air in. Neither the phone or television worked . Both microwave and small fridge were filthy and rusty. The bottom of the shower curtain was full of black mold. It was late and we had been driving all day otherwise we would have left to find another place.

The pictures are false. This place is a dump.. It smells funny and so dirty. Please do not book this place. I made a mistake and checked in and paid but never actually made it to my room. I honestly feared for my safety. I sat in the parking lot and watched my car get eyeballed, pretty sure it would have been stolen or broken into over night. I now cannot get my money back since I paid but I will gladly lose the money over risking my life.

Hotel is good for a good night sleep also great when traveling with your pet

I am trying to think of something positive to say, but all I can come up with was the price was low. Now for the bad parts: No shower curtain (which I didn't notice until I was getting ready to shower at 4:30 a.m.) Dingy towels (one of which had a huge chunk ripped out of it) No ice machine A/C that we put on full blast the entire night and still barely got cool Pretty sure there were bed bugs that came through the holes in the sheets. I had about 10 bites on me the next day. There is a smell in that place I couldn't determine.

Property is in very bad condition…anyone can get into building without keys. Feel very unsafe…dirty towels, dirty sheets, bed bugs…..

Room was disgusting. Had black mold in my hotel room and a hole in the shower.

The desk clerk was friendly and helpful

The sheets on the beds had stains on them The bathroom wasn’t clean. We had to leave and find another hotel to stay in for the night. We checked out about 20 minutes after we got there

Room was very sub par. Location was convenient for me. Hotel appeared to be undergoing renovations. Rural area was indicative of limited patronage. Staff was friendly. Main complaint was no ice.
