Hyatt Place Roanoke Airport / Valley View Mall

Very nice hotel. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the bathroom was extremely difficult to get in and out of, especially for a larger person.

The hotel was super convenient and quiet. Excellent condition room and lobby. A great place to stay in Roanoke. Terrific breakfast too!

The room i was assigned shouldn't be assigned to anyone it was beside the elevator and a lot of noise. Everytime it was going up or down the noise was like inside the room.

Common areas filthy. Several things broken in the bathroom. Several things outdated. Not clean.

A decently run Hyatt Place airport hotel. Some of the hotel feels fairly dated like the elevator, but overall its fine! I would stay here again if ever in the area.

Like others have mentioned, this stay did not meet my expectations of staying at a Hyatt property. We were on a road trip along I-81 and stayed here for a single night. There were crumbs in our room, furniture and floor stains, and mildew in the bathroom. The fridge barely worked and was not cold when we checked in to our room and needed a place to put perishables during our road trip. We avoided using the hotel elevators—it felt like they needed maintenance. Front desk staff were unhelpful and one staff person even stepped away from the desk to start scrolling on their phone in the lobby during their shift. It was a very disappointing stay, and I would urge anyone with World of Hyatt points or loyalty to skip this particular Hyatt property.

Near good restaurants a mall and a quiet area. Good breakfast.
