The BioHabitat was the highlight of our two-week road trip through Colombia's Eje Cafetero. This place is magical, all 28 glass-walled cabins float into the forest and provide great privacy. The staff is amazing in all areas, from reception to the spa, everyone is attentive, polite, and highly competent. The Basto restaurant is beautifully appointed with magnificent views, and the food is amazing. The complementary breakfast is superb. If you have a car, you can also drive yourself to wonderful restaurants nearby. Don't miss a visit to Circasia, the amazing town nearest the hotel. Family-friendly night life, art crafts, and restaurants in town. The spa is amazing and a great deal. We got the couple's massage and spent time enjoying our (complementary!) drinks at the pool deck during sunset. Wow. We want to go back and spend a whole week!

The BioHabitat is most suitable for people with no mobility issues. You need to walk over pavers and trek 5-10 minutes from your cabin to the facilities which can be a bit demanding. They offer golf cart transportation at no extra cost if you need it. Driving from Bogotá will take several hours and you need to drive over the Cordillera La Linea del Medio. Consider flying into Armenia or Pereira to save yourself the trouble.

Our stay at Bio Habitat Hotel was truly unforgettable. We’ve traveled extensively, and this is easily one of our favorite hotels.The entire property is beautifully integrated into nature, creating a peaceful and unique atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The room was stunning, thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and perfectly in harmony with the surroundings. What really stood out was the exceptional management and staff. Every single person was friendly, attentive, and highly professional, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The pool are is breathtaking, especially at sunset, an ideal place to unwind. We also enjoyed incredibly relaxing massages that elevated the whole experience even further. The food was outstanding, and the restaurant’s fire pit area at night creates such a special ambiance…warm, inviting, and perfect for a memorable evening

Las instalaciones y el restaurante son excepcionales. Hay que caminar bastante y a veces incluso subir escaleras o pendientes por lo cual no es recomendable para personas con dificultades de movilidad.

Tuvimos problemas con el check in por causas de booking pero la atención y la ayuda en la resolución de los problemas por parte del personal del check no fue la mejor. A pesar de esto se logró solucionar el percance.

The location was absolutely breathtaking, right in the heart of nature. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birds and rustling leaves was unforgettable. The views from the hotel were even more stunning than the photos online. I enjoyed breakfast in my room, making the experience feel complete and indulgent. A perfect stay for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and comfort.

After my stay, I spent the entire afternoon enjoying the spa, which was a wonderful and relaxing experience. However, I was disappointed with the shuttle service. Once you are no longer a hotel guest, the shuttle prioritizes check-in guests over visitors, which led to long waiting times. It would be great if the hotel could invest in additional shuttles to ensure that all guests and visitors are accommodated more efficiently. Overall, the spa was excellent, but the transportation service could definitely be improved.
