Shilo Inn Suites Ocean Shores

We're pretty easy to please and understand circumstances beyond control. We visited out of season and they were kind and upgraded us to a larger room, but the larger room seemed to be set up for just one person. One coffee cup with a 1 Cup coffee maker. (No extra coffee available due to their delivery being delayed). There was a microwave that was very small and you could barely get a cup in there, but happy to have it- but no dishes, silverware or any other glassware But a small refrigerator! Yaay. Television had cable but most of the channels weren't working and there was no guide. Sauna and steam room looked like they hadn't been used or kept up for quite some time, but the pool and jacuzzi were good. In general, we DID enjoy our stay. The staff were friendly, beds were comfortable, space was nice and large and having a view of the ocean and all the kites flying was spectacular. We decided to stay two nights.

Horrible service, the pool door was broken so we would have to wait when someone was available to opened the door. The restaurant is closed down but is advertised on here, why? The rooms felt dirty & not properly maintained.. definitely should do some outside renovation as well because the signs looks like it’s falling off & there is people that walk on the sidewalk so it looks unsafe. I used to love coming out here to the shilo but it looks like they can’t take care of the hotel right…

It was dirty smelled the only thing that is convenient the beach is right there

Something has happened really catastrophic no television in any room 1 towel per guest 🤔 Something very wrong has been going on just a couple of years ago but any complete trash

I would avoid this hotel like the plague. We felt like we were in a Stephen King movie. There are no maids, the rooms and balconies are absolutely disgusting, there is no cable so the TVs don’t work, all the garbages in the lobby and hallways are full and stinky, no bedspreads on the beds, no toiletries in the bathroom, the AC doesn’t work and the list goes on. There is literally only one person working at the front desk. We called down to get extra towels to shower in the morning because we had to use the towels in the room for the chairs on the deck that were covered in bird poop. The person said we would have to come down to the lobby to grab them because there was no one else there. And the restaurant and lounge has been closed since 2020. The absolutely only good thing about this hotel is that we will never forget it and get some good laughs about what a craphole it was!

I picked this property to start with because it was a Shiloh, but it sure did not meet what I would expect. I did have the ocean view I wanted and the floor was clean however there was much to be desired. There were no towels in the room (but this was corrected when I asked for them) but then there were other problems——the toilet was not clean (feces from a prior renter), the coffee machine was missing the carafe so could not use it although there were supplies to make coffee, the hairdryer did not work, the bottom sheet had an inch corner tear in it, and the shade on the door toward the beach was frayed for about a foot and half on the right side. Many of these items are minor but surely not great for the price that I paid or for Shiloh which I expected to be a hirer rated hotel. The front desk person was very nice and I wish that I could have written a much more complementary rating and would have done so if I could have.

Nice view of the ocean. Rooms needed update. It takes forever to take a shower due to the water is not coming strong. I’m not sure maybe it’s the shower head. The sauna and the steam room door need to get fix because it won’t close all the way. The bed is not comfortable, really old comforter. The eating area with little refrigerator, microwave, and sink is always nice to have. Close to the stores. I hope they open the restaurant again.

Save your money and stay somewhere else. For what they charge you would think you’re getting something. Not the case! Beds hard, worn out bedding, used room card holders, stained carpet and mixed matched tile in the lobby. The tile in the bathroom was sticky. You had to hold down the handle on the toilet to flush and the seat was loose. The freezer in the room was completely full of ice you couldn’t use it at all!

Did not have coffee in room. Had to ask at front desk. No restaurant. Had to ask for towels. Other then that, spacious rooms, great view!
