we ended up not staying cause of a family emergency but what we did see not to impressed outdated but the view from the balcony was nice
The front desk attendant was very respectful and attentive to my needs, coming to the front desk even though I arrived an hour after it was supppsed to be closed. The room on the river was beautifully furnished and had everything I needed for my overnight stay. I highly recommend the Fleetwood Inn when you're going to visit Mackinac City or Mackinac Island. It's a 20-minute ride to the Shetler Ferry dock from the Inn and much less expensive than hotels on the Island itself.
Billy made the check-in process so seamless and convenient. He established communication right on and helped with our plan extremely easy. There is Walmart and Walgreens nearby. Excellent backyard view of the lake.

Customer Service was top notch. Rooms, for the price, were underwhelming. 206 have a very loose toilet and pex plumbing in the shower made the bath spout very flimsy. Room 205, my other room rented, had same issues. Both balconies need reinforcing or redone. Squishy spots. No elevators to the 2nd floor. Charged a 5% Tourist fee. Lol State tax and hazardous material fee. Lol Overall, decent stay. Comfortable and spacious room. Holiday Inn pricing at Super 8 luxury
I would have given it 5 stars but the carpeting had several stains , some hair in the tub and the shower handle fell off when adjusting the shower. Really just little things! The desk manager was super nice and helpful and was the best at customer service I have seen in a long time! The bed was clean and comfortable and the view from the balcony of the Cheboygan river was nice! They also have docks you can park your boat right on the river with easy access to the hotel. Overall a very good stay, I would come here again!
Very pleased with our stay, convenient to shopping, restaurants, bike trail. Person at the desk was very helpful and friendly. Very clean, water pressure in the sink was low.
We had to leave after only one day due to a family emergency, but otherwise the staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Very nice place.
