Sonesta ES Suites Providence - Airport

I really liked staying here. Everything was clean. The bed was really comfortable. Staff is friendly and nice. Basketball court was cool.

Absolutely terrible stay. Carpet filthy with cigarette burns, bathroom full of mold, cracked toilet seat, no facecloths available, and the in-room phone didn’t work. Final night ruined by a smoke detector beeping nonstop. This hotel is dirty and poorly maintained. Do not recommend. The place is nothing like the representation on their website.

My wife and I spent 10 nights there recently while visiting friends. The rug was so dirty that my white socks turned black on the bottom. There was mold around the tub in the bathroom. The room phone did not work. Only local channels on the TV. WiFi was iffy. Partying in the unit above late at night. (I think people rent just to party.) On the last night the smoke detector batteries failed a 2:30 a.m., so there was constant chirping from the unit keeping us awake. Would have called the offfice, but--room phones do not work. You have to get coffee setups and swap out your towels in the main office. Asked for a couple of rolls of toilet paper. Was told "I can give you one!" Really, do people take toilet paper home? Beds were uncomfortable and bed line old and lifeless.

No way to communicate with management never received deposit back and left room spotless. Called repeatedly and received no response.

I was in RI for my best friends wedding. Stayed at Sonesta ES. Grossest place I’ve ever stayed. Vanity wall behind sink and under mirror were crumbling. Paint splattered everywhere. Burn holes everywhere. Stains everywhere; chairs, couch, floor, bed. Disgusting. And the carpet stunk so bad it made me so nauseous. Kitchen floor was covered in paint splatters and sticky. I was afraid to walk around in my socks. Water damage or tannin stains on ceiling, also ceiling looks to be caving in. Also there was what looked to be BLOOD on the wall!

The breakfast staff was great. The hotel was not like in the pictures online it was run down, they didn’t clean the room at all the 5 days I was there, no change of towels!
