Holiday Inn Express Jamestown by IHG

Pool and hot tub were not available for use. Person checking us in didn’t seem to care if we were there or not. Not the least bit helpful.

This was the WORST Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed at. Let me explain. First, the gentleman who checked us in was unfriendly, disinterested, and unhelpful. When we got to our room is smelled like stale cigerette smoke and this is a nonsmoking property. We did not want to deal with the gentleman at the desk again so we decided to tough it out. The room was very worn. There were no sheer curtains. We were told the pool area had been closed for several weeks due to a broken pipe. A bad storm had come through 5 days before we arrived and had broken the one and only ice machine in the hotel. Breakfast was disappointing. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I DO NOT recommend it.

This Holiday Inn Express needed some TLC. Areas in the hotel need some upgrades. Okay hotel for one night stay.

I booked 2 rooms to take my grandkids swimming. Upon arrival we were told that the pool was not usable. I told the desk person that wouldn't work for our plans so I had to go elsewhere. Between Booking.com and the motel I was charged for the 2 rooms even though we did not stay there.

Great stop for us, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Just a passing through stop so no amenities used.

Ok but not what I am used to at the brand. Eating area was a bit messy with stored boxes in too visible areas. Staff was ok but not as friendly or professional as most.

This is a very dirty hotel. I have stayed at holiday inns in the past and this was the worst experience ever! I even called once I was in my room and told the front desk that the room was not clean, frig, micro wave just dirty. Spots on the sheets, water to my ankles as I tried to shower. Mirror just smeared in the entire room

Breakfast

We had bugs in our bathroom and on our bed. We only got a $40 discount. This is ridiculous. We will never stay here again.
