Opus One Luxury Guest House & Wine

Leider ist die Unterkunft etwas heruntergekommen, die Bilder und die Beschreibung entsprechen nicht der Realität. Der Pool lädt nicht zum schwimmen ein. Wer eine wirklich luxuriöse Unterkunft sucht, sollte sich anderweitig umsehen.

We did not receive communication from the hotel until after the date of our stay had passed. We had nowhere to stay in Faro when we couldn’t gain access to the property and had to pay for taxis to and from the airport and then source alternate accommodation in Vilamoura at an additional cost. Hotels.com have been no help either.

Even I paid for the hotel, no one opened the door. We have to find another place to stay for the night. I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY SAID NOT REFUNDABLE. It is unacceptable!! The door was locked and we knocked a lot of times. Leaving us stranded even we had paid for the hotel which is disrespectful.

Quirky hotel in a great location. Owner was welcoming and accommodating even at short notice.

Location of guest house is quite close to the Train station and also downtown/Old Town. Within walking distance of all that you want to visit. Shower in our room was quite tight and the shower door was hard to close. The bed was two twins pushed together and the mattress was very hard. Breakfast was minimal/continental, no buffet. The bread served was stale. Probably will not stay here again.

Koselig lite hotell. Vi spiste ikke der, men de hadde fin mat og et veldig godt utvalg vin. Kort vei til sentrum. Veldig god service, hyggelig vertskap.

It was a nice place and right where we needed to be, but i think we were a little too early in the season...

The unit was cold and damp. No means of taking chill out of the air. Wifi did not work in our room even after mentioning it to staff.

El propietario ha sido muy amable y el hotel cuenta con todas las comodidades, es un concepto diferente, pero muy bueno por su comodidad, amabilidad y trato al cliente.

Lovely quirky hotel in a great central location. Very comfortable bed. Large bathroom and sunny deck off the room with sunbeds and table overlooking the courtyard. As it was Winter, the pool and outside spaces were not in use and were being refurbished so we didn’t use any of those. We had dinner on our second evening which was delicious and the dining space was cosy with wood fire We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very special place.
