Lotus Beach Hotel - Adults Only

Best location on Isla Mujeres given its position at best part of playa Norte. Only thing better then location is the outstanding staff.

Breakfast was included, we didn’t eat there after for the first day it was really poor.

Breakfast as per above. Value for money seemed a bit low, it it’s always hard to compare as it was our first trip.

The room was superb along with an outstanding staff that made my wife’s surprise birthday to Cancún wonderful.

The food, the non-heated pool. Just a suggestion to possibly look into updating the room as well as the channels did not work most of the time but we were gone most of the morning and afternoon.

I chose the best place to stay for vacations, the staff is professional, for sure I'll come back to this place

As a return visitor, I absolutely love this spot. However there has been a change in management that I am very concerned will affect the experience at this hotel. We love all the staff at this hotel they are incredible. However they have outsourced their breakfast to the hotel next to called Oceanvs- and we had not won but two poor experiences in that restaurant where the same surveyor ripped us off multiple times. There was one server that was incredible but it really affected our overall experience with the Hotel making me question if I would book it again.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you’re looking for any kind of decent treatment and room. Bugs in the room, you’ll be told to throw your used toilet paper in the trash can, no decent internet and no TV option through hotel. It’s in a sketchy area at the far, cheap end of the island and security is lax. Our “ocean view” room was a joke barely could see the water. Just an old bridge and trees right in front. 😕 Everything closes at the hotel at 6pm and the included breakfast is a block away at another hotel. The plunge pool on the patio is a like warm bathroom filled with old water and leaves/dirt. They advertise shuttle service from the airport. Also false. You’ll pay and arrange it and the ferry yourself. Adults only? They served small kids food and drinks on the beach from the hotel. The beach area is totally public and includes 5 hard chairs. We reserved for 5 days and left after 2 to go to a REAL hotel that doesn’t falsely advertise and is clean.

El personal. Tanto el personal de la mañana como de la tarde siempre estaban disponibles. Un encanto. Siempre con una sonrisa. Unos cócteles y una comida excepcional. En Lotus la gente es toda muy muy amable. Agradecer a Karen y Quetzal. La habitación divina. Limpieza y rapidez, muy eficientes..

El desayuno. El segundo día se cambió la ubicación al otro hotel y el personal de la nueva ubicación fue grosero. Mientras le preguntábamos por una comida, que nos habían dicho que entraba en el menú en Lotus, el personal del otro hotel nos dijo que no y específico "aquí solo nos pagan para servirte la comida". Muy fuera de lugar. Por otro lado se preguntó si podríamos coger otra bebida que el zumo, dado que el zumo viene dado en un vaso súper pequeño y con mucho hielo, y nos dijo que no que teníamos que pagarlo. Muy decepcionante dado el precio del incremento que se da por el desayuno. Muy precario y con unos trabajadores que no están a la altura de un hotel de cinco estrellas como se supone que es lotus. Además esta nueva ubicación tiene la música súper alta. Se supone que hablamos de un hotel de relax y es por culpa del hotel de al lado no cumple lo prometido. Mucho ruido y poco profesionalismo. Si se trata del mismo hotel, por qué no se tratan a los clientes de la misma manera? O al menos, por qué no se trata con respeto? Muy muy decepcionante.

The property was small and quaint. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is Adult only, however the beach is open to the public.

Great location. Lovely rooms. Great staff and service.

The included breakfast was very limited for the price and water/additional coffee was charged at an extra cost
