My family of four visited this Los Cabos resort for the first time and we had a fantastic time, My kids are 2.5 & 5 and it was perfect. The kids pool was awesome and safe, and the pool service is pretty good. Our room was very clean and we did all inclusive so had 24 hour room service and all food included which was SUPER helpful with young kids they want to eat….often. We tipped in US dollars and everything else was taken care of. The only area of improvement for us was seating at breakfast. With plenty of open tables, they would make people wait to be seated, often for 10 mins for what seemed like no reason. That was frustrating. Aside from that, would highly recommend!

I’ve been to Cabo many times but this had to be the best resort. 12/10 for the food, especially Japanese. Rooms very nice and breakfast buffet was amazing. The only downside is that they had limited activities but if you’re there to relax and reset, know that you definitely will. They had a security in the front every time you had to enter you had to give them your last name and room number. Safety was important to them. Shuttle service from airport to hotel and back was $280, so not worth it. You can uber or find other cheaper alternatives for transportation, like we did for $140 round trip. Overall, amazing hotel, we will be staying here going forward, even with kids.

My recent stay at Garza Blanca Cabo was extremely disappointing and concerning, and I feel it’s important to share my experience so others are aware. From the start, our stay was disrupted by children repeatedly knocking on our door early in the mornings. When I asked to move rooms, the front desk said they couldn’t accommodate us that day but would call the next day. No one ever followed up, and when I called again, staff acted completely unaware — no notes or record had been left. The dining experience was equally underwhelming. The food lacked flavor, and we were even served frozen cheesecake with ice still on it. On top of that, staff knocked on our door at inappropriate hours — as early as 8am — asking for dishes. There are no security locks on the doors, which is deeply unsettling, especially given reports from other guests that staff have entered while they were showering. The staff overall came across as unprofessional, often rude, and clearly disengaged. However, the most alarming part of our stay was theft directly from our room. A bright neon pink bag of mine went missing, which included personal items and my AirPods. I was able to track the AirPods to the property, specifically to an office area behind the sales desks. When I immediately reported this to the front desk, the response was apathetic at best. I was told to wait 20 minutes for security and fill out paperwork, despite the fact I could see the live location of my device. When I confronted the manager, Jose Luis, he offered no apology and displayed zero empathy. Instead, he wasted nearly two hours of our last day as we stood waiting while he texted on his phone. Eventually, he even showed me a picture of my purse on his own phone — confirming staff had removed it from my room — but all my belongings had been taken out of the bag and my AirPods were separated from my things. The excuses I received were insulting. The manager suggested my neon pink bag was “accidentally” taken with white towels, which is implausible, as you would immediately see the neon pink bag, you can’t miss it in a stack of bright white towels. He then told me that anything not locked in the safe was essentially my fault. A whole suitcase does not fit in the safe. This is unacceptable. Guests should not have to fear staff going through their belongings in the room they paid for. To make matters worse, during this ordeal the manager and staff were visibly laughing and smiling, which only added to how unprofessional and shady the situation felt. (See photo of staff below) At no point was there accountability, empathy, or respect. Not only was the experience uncomfortable throughout, but the outright theft, lack of safety measures, and dismissive management make this hotel a serious risk to guests. I strongly urge others to reconsider before booking here. You are jeopardizing both your safety and your belongings by staying at this property. I will not be returning to Garza Blanca Cabo, and I sincerely hope management and ownership take action, because based on my experience (and others I’ve since read), this property should be under serious review.

We just left an extremely disappointing stay at Garza Blanca Los Cabos. We decided to join friends of ours who are Five Star Elite members on our first time stay because they had amazing things to say this resort. However, that ended up not being our personal experience. We had items go missing from the room and we had the absolute displeasure of dealing with the on site manager, Jose Luis, who was extremely rude and of ZERO compassion. JOSE LUIS did not once apologize for the missing items or have any sort of remorse, words of positive reassurance, or even any sort of emotional intelligence when dealing with guests. Guests who are paying thousand of dollars who are supposed to feel safe in their 4 diamond resort. JOSE LUIS was so extremely rude that instead of reassuring his guest that he would do whatever it takes to help, proceeded to tell me “JUST SO YOU KNOW, IF YOUR ITEMS ARE NOT IN THE SAFE, THEY ARE NOT OUR LIABILITY AND YOU SIGN FOR THAT WHEN YOU STAY HERE AT OUR HOTEL”. So we promptly responded, “so anyone who has access to our room is an allowed a shopping spree of personal items since their WHOLE suitcase doesn’t fit in the safe?” Again, this was no way to respond to and/or handle a situation with a guest who is worried about their missing items. That should not have been the first words out of his mouth, it should have been a bit of reassurance AT LEAST. I repeatedly asked for a card or to speak with someone else higher up than him because I was so offended by the way he spoke to us. Jose Luis refused to give me any information other than a business card where “Liliana Goni” is crossed out and he hand wrote his name at the top. Also, extremely unprofessional for a business you’re paying thousands of dollars to stay at. We later spoke with our friends who specifically informed us that Arturo was actually the general manager in charge of this hotel (which I now see when reviews are posted). We received ZERO apology from Jose Luis. His unprofessionalism was an absolute embarrassment and he should not be the face of your company at Garza Blanca. Four diamond resorts deserve FOUR DIAMOND managers with integrity and RESPECT. The bare minimum is what we deserve when paying for this hotel. I would have loved to personally get in contact with the general manager so that I could have had some sort of potential redemption conversation from an actual professional. I definitely would have appreciated an intelligent conversation with someone who actually knows how to handle customer concerns (especially not a “manager” who instead spent time laughing and gossiping with the sales associates while we waited for our stuff). Thankfully, items were returned, however, it was the absolute principle of how things should be handled professionally and courteously.

The resort was beautiful. All the staff were very kind and very helpful at all times. The daily room service and restocking of the rooms were great. My favorite dining was the beach food truck, the food was a 10/10.
