"Stayed in basic but good room"

Last minute finding place to stay. They have cheaper rooms in building attached. Got double with en suite. Good. It was basic but clean. Right in town. short walk to cafes etc. Car park out front. Staff friendly...breakfast ok Bruce & Lorraine Australia

"Tidy and fresh"

8.0

The venue is brand new with tidy rooms, wide beds, and convenient bathroom. I wish to have more natural food for breakfast rather than dairy from manufacturers. Close to everything. Friendly and English speaking staff.

"Soviet style services"

4.0

this hotel is very small and makes only a part of the big building. there are small rooms and bigger ones. I stayed in a large room and it was clean. every night there were parties in the restaurant on the 4th floor with noisy music and karaoke. sleeping at night proved to be a challenge. avoid if can. there are apparently nice family run B&Bs there. Check Green house and other small guesthouses.

"OK"

6.0

It is a relatively new hotel, and the only one in the city, apart from b&b's. The location is central, the hotel feels new, however the interior is kitschy and feels outdated. The room, even though clean, is not very cosy, and the bathroom in the standard room is tiny.

"Not a bad hotel all things considered"

6.0

For the Abkhazia bound traveler, Zugdidi is the natural break point between the trek from Tbilisi & the border crossing. There are not many hotels in Zugdidi either, so the ability to book this one online was useful. Not straightforward to find though as it i is on the first floor of a curiously garish new build nearish McDonalds. Decent sized rooms, TV in Russian, good sized shower. We tried to book a room with two singles, but they didn't seem to have one- though the room did have a pull out sofa bed. A little expensive for Georgia I think. Room came with a good sized wardbrobe and e-Safe. Breakfast was included on the top floor restaurant with a selection of meats/ cheeses/ bread- no fresh fruit though. Half an hours walk from the rail station- but make sure you have printed off a map, as no one - literally no one - has heard of it
