The Beyond Villa Guilin Boutique Hotel

The location was near enough to the city but far enough to be calm and quiet. We were able to walk and cycle around the countryside. The staff members were very sweet and helpful. They organized day excursions for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The room we as comfortable and the bathtub a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Room size, interior decor, location, views from room were really great. The hospitality from the hosts and staff were fantastic. Also amazing value for money. And nice way to experience a Chinese village - style surrounding.

Everything! Especially the hospitality and kindness of Maria and her staff. It was like staying by a friend. We came late in the afternoon without having any bought tickets for the sightseeings (rice fields, Li cruise river) and she has arranged all for us. We would pay double via trip.com or klook. Also the next day when we have returned exhausted from the day trip, she prepared us tea, cookies and fruits. Amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The room, especially the bed very comfortable. I slept like a baby. I am very thankful to her and her team that she made our stay so great.

Thrilled we picked a serene inn of Guilin! Peaceful environment—nice for leisurely stroll. Housekeepers spoke English smoothly,top service–they've planned our trip perfectly. Smoke-free rooms (no Off-Smell!),depite near downtown,but quiet. They welcomed us with hand-made dumpling and invited us to join making, insanely tasty!

I stayed at The Beyond Villa Guilin for 2 nights. After my arrival I was given a very friendly welcome. Both in English and Chinese. The staff and the boss are very accommodating and friendly. I was invited to lunch together that same evening. This allowed me to get closer to Chinese culture in an authentic way. The room was in very good condition. Everything was clean and tidy. The hotel is in a quiet and wonderful location. It is only 5-10 minutes from Guilin city center. If you can't find the hotel straight away (it is only written in Chinese) you can call the owner and she will pick you up. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. There is something for everyone. I really enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend this hotel. Ich war für 2 Nächte in The Beyond Villa Guilin. Nach meiner Ankunft wurde ich sehr freundlich empfangen. Sowohl auf Englisch als in Chinesisch. Das Personal und auch die Chefin sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich wurde am selben Abend zu einem gemeinsamen Lunch eingeladen. Somit konnte ich der chinesischen Kultur auf eine authentische Art und Weise näher kommen. Das Zimmer war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer ruhigen und traumhaften Lage. Es ist nur 5-10 Minuten von Guilin Innenstadt entfernt. Wenn man das Hotel nicht auf Anhieb findet ( es ist nur in chinesisch ausgeschrieben) kann man die Besitzerin anrufen und man wird abgeholt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und lecker. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Mein Aufenthalt hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

It is nicely decorated in beautiful Chinese style decor. Nicely done for an older country side buildings.

The staff were so friendly and helpful — went above and beyond offering us advice on where to go and how to get around, plus kindly offered food and tea and frequently accommodated us. They were always available for questions. The room was lovely and clean, we had no issues during our stay.
