amazing hospitality and great location. it’s within walking distance from the main shopping street and museums.

My husband and I stayed in the world's most northerly full-service hotel in March. Visiting Svalbard was the main purpose of our trip and it did not disappoint. We booked a suite and stayed in room 12. It was spacious and updated with a great view from the corner location. The staffs at the hotel were very friendly and professional. They accommodated our requests from restaurant reservations (and a cancellation), book a quick taxi tour of vault and bear sign, and helped us resolving a rental car issue. While they had plenty of guests to accommodate, they were very attentive and we appreciate that very much. Finally, much of guests were relaxed and fun to hang out with. Highly recommend having a pint or two at the Northern most pub in the world.

Great place and great staff. Flash restaurant, gastro pub, sauna and jacuzzi. Rooms good. There did seem to be a shortage of hot water in the room though.

We spent a week at the Radisson Blu Polarhotel in Longyearbyen. We were allowed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the hotel. There was a competition for the anniversary and luck was on our side because we were the lucky winners. Thank you very much for the generous shopping voucher. This is the second time we have stayed at the Polar Hotel in Langearbyen. The hotel staff were again very courteous and helpful. The rooms are pleasant and very clean. We had the Ulf Prytz Suite and could enjoy a beautiful view of the Fjord and the mountains. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet is rich and good. In the restaurant Nansen we could enjoy a wonderful three-course menu in a beautiful ambience. We had a wonderful time. We will be back. m+m

Great location and everything is within walking distance. We had a junior suite with a nice view over the fjord and it had everything you would need including a nice sofa to look out of the window. Excellent staff who were all friendly and amazing in the number of different languages they could speak. Food at breakfast was also fantastic with lots of choices, recommend a coffee and doughnut! And we tried the Pub for dinner and liked the pizzas. Top tip make sure you book a slot in the jacuzzi the view is incredible Not a negative but as others have said if booking a suite these are in another building so get used to putting your shoes and winter clothes on and off when going to the main building

Its okay but there are better hotels in Svalbard. The hotel is quite dated - the reception and restaurant are super nice but the rest of the hotel and the rooms need a refurb and are quite tired. Our shower was only ever luke warm, the shower head button kept unclicking so we had to manually hold it in to use the shower head - not ideal given how cold it is in Svalbard! Booked this hotel for the location in the town centre and the brand name but its not really a true "Radisson" in our opinion. We spent the second half of our trip in a different hotel which we'd return to over this one. Breakfast great though.

Very comfortable and wonderful stay as it is situated in the center where access to every activity is easy.

Generally good- staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok but the same everyday and not that imaginative- it would have been nice to have had more egg options and proper coffees. The sauna and hot tub experience was good. The pub was also nice and the food was good here. We stayed in the suites in the other building- the rooms here are a little tired and need a refurb.

I had a fantastic stay at Radisson Blu in Svalbard! This is without a doubt the best hotel in town. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the area, and the breathtaking views from my room were simply unforgettable. If you’re visiting Svalbard and looking for a top-quality stay, Radisson Blu is the perfect choice!
