When we arrived to check-in the hotel was overbooked and they didn’t have our rooms. This forced us to fin anothe hotel late at night.
We arrived at 11:30pm - we had booked a room the night before. The area was SO crowded - there were people walking around the parking lot, in the lobby and on the street. The neighborhood was not safe. I went inside bc we didn’t have another option- and they had overbooked. Had no room for us. And were so rude. The guy said “my manager messed up. And left me to deal with it.”
The property is old. The room smelled moldy. The AC was working hard to keep the room cool. However, for $70 these issues were not a concern to me.
Staff were accommodating to my first floor request. Breakfast was plentiful. Clean !
Their tv service went out because it was sprinkling outside. 2 days later they hadn’t bothered to fix the problem. I requested housekeeping every other day during my 4 day stay,. They never came. The bread for toast in their continental breakfast was stale. No bacon or sausage on the fourth day, eggs only
Our Front Desk Clerk that checked us in was wonderful and pleasant. Breakfast was enjoyable. Housekeeper was friendly and responded pleasantly with our truest.
